i'm going to lead a vegan!youth day event at the end of february. we're going to cook and eat together, maybe share some recipes and shopping tips, too. i was also thinking of maybe showing a short documentary on what's "right" about being vegan (or what's "wrong" about traditional agriculture and animal farms, etc.). do you guys have any recommendations? youth aged 15-30 will be there; less graphic is probably better. thanks!

Maybe show them a segment of Vegucated, it has some good info, but the footage is not overly graphic. I also like that it shows the information through the eyes of transitioning meat eaters. It's on Youtube now. The section 16:30-25:40 might suit your purpose? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9IqSn9l6Sg

Some information in Dutch would be good too (like you said in the Dutch products thread), but there aren't (m)any good video's yet, as far as I know.

I think it's really cool that you're participating in this. Let us know how it went!

I'd also recommend part of Vegucated. It's clever, informative and not graphic (cept for one scene).

I've been waiting for a release of Tegan the Vegan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVvGbgwzeK0), but I don't really know if it's "pro-animal" at its core so much as it is "pro-individuality" (i.e. sticking with choices despite being mocked/teased - veganism just being a convenient conduit for that message).. and it might be better suited to early teen, instead of 15+. but without seeing it, I don't know! it's due for release any day now.
