I'm excited for dinner tonight. I just made a steamed sausage variation "Irish 2" with navy beans, garlic, thyme, basil, rosemary & marjoram. Then I'm going to roast some potatoes, carrots & onions to eat with them. (like a dublin coddle, but less brothy since that's easier for my toddler to eat) I've never made these sausages before so I hope they're good.

VEW White Bean and Faro Soup with Chick Pea Parmesan. Delicious, filling, comforting, satisfying, and warming on a cold winter night.

We had my FIL and family over tonight, and it was his birthday yesterday, so I made minestrone soup, maple-mustard-dressed green salad, and warm ciabatta bread with EB. And lemon cupcakes for dessert.

tried recreating a childhood dish....mushroom soup & 'chicken' over rice. i liked it but will need to play around with it a bit more next time! I also ate some kale chips - because at $6 a box I must eat them all.

More soup (which ride has thickened into one heck of a stew) plus quesadillas with butternut queso. I've also been asked to make chocolate-covered pretzels and need to gather those ingredients....

Ramen - super cheapo instant noodles with broccoli, onion, carrot, red pepper, spring greens, ginger, soy sauce, chilli sauce, soy milk and seitan pot roast. I could eat this stuff every day. I have so far this week - twice today!

I bought that punk rawk cashew herb cheese and some really good salt bagels. So salt and fat and carbs and no veggies.

Brown rice, chickpeas, sauteed onions/broccoli/garlic with a 'mango pineapple coconut' sauce that has... some kind of hard alcohol in it? A tiny bit? Found it at market basket and it's totally vegan. Priiiceeyyy, but good.
