Hooray, my period came today, instead of on Christmas day!
Yesterday I made apricot and almond cookies, thinking they'd last me a good long time as I don't usually have much of a sweet tooth. I think I'm on my 7th one of the day now.

I'm really hoping it doesn't come while I'm in Costa Rica, but there's a chance since I seem to be off my regular schedule a bit.

I used to think that I was the only one that got clots and I used to get them bad. I kind of feel better that others do as well but I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
And still no period but back is feeling slightly cramping. I think I'm going to be very very annoyed with my body. I hate plane travel and periods together.

I realize I'm bisqueing a lot about this, it's my first full period in four years and it's come as a bit of a shock.
Currently I'm retaining water like crazy. I feel really uncomfortable, as though I was carrying an extra 15 pounds.

bisque away, 8ball. The first time I got my period after a long time on the depo shot (and no period as a result of) I felt awful. Like it was my very first period ever. Like tampons were new inventions. Ugh I hated every second of it.
Still do, pretty much. Hate right now, want it to go away, hate cramps, hate life. Love chocolate. I'm such a cliche.

Just in time for my 5 hour flight, I've started cramping. So not only is my stomach sore and bruised from my fall yesterday but my back is aching.

Woke up today with total PMS crankiness and cramping. Great! Today I have to bake a shitload of cookies and wrap presents, and tomorrow I have to see the relatives, which I was already dreading... now it's going to being even worse trying to deal with them when I feel like I want to kill everyone.

I'm in labour. And crying like a baby. Didn't help that some crazy old bat started screaming at me at the beach, scared my dog into running away and threw a stick at me. That just eventually wore my patience down and I started bawling in front of everyone. The shame. But for now.... it's all about the labour pains.

haha! Love that first one.
I feel like this is one heck of a smelly one for me. Like, in reality I probably don't smell, but I feel like I do. I feel like I should just walk around with an old fish dangling from my neck. But I know I am just imagining things.

When I was a child, I used only pads, because my mother thought that tampons are unhealthy. Once I went to the bookstore and a pack of stray dogs started following me around. I'm not afraid of dogs, but I couldn't predict what they would do to me.

Does anyone have pain at the *end* of their period? I'm just on my second cycle after F's birth (and the first one was just spotting). I had a day and a half of of moderate bleeding, then 3 days of exhaustive bleeding, then a slow down to fairly light again. Thought Flo was headed out of town, but on day 7 now and since Saturday, have had some unusual (to me) pain, high on the left side. Before that, I was super super tired, but the cramps were more in the normal range. This is like someone is stabbing me with a dagger and then it disappears for awhile. It seems a bit like ovarian pain, but I've never experienced it this early (or so much that I feel I have to sit down).
<<wonders if missing periods for 23 months is a good reason to get pregnant again. :D

Oh hey period, I didn't expect you this early!
I just woke up in so much pain my first thought was that I needed to go to the ER!
I mean that still seems appealing except I think they would laugh at me a lot. But people go to the ER for severe migraines and get an injection and this is just as bad.

I've always done really well with ibuprofen, but recently my cramps have been so awful that the max dose (800 mg, or 4 caplets) is barely helping. I'm thinking of switching to naproxen or maybe talking to my doctor about a prescription for something stronger. 3 ibuprofen at a time generally work for me but if I miss a regular dose it's really rough and hard to get the pain to go away mrsbadmouth wrote: My period tracker app says that I am getting my period tomorrow. i just had a crying fit in the parking garage at the gym, then pulled my shiitake together, got out like a big girl and went to go running, got undressed to find that i had left my shorts at home, and then lost it again. Guess who's coming to visit in the next day or two. "fork you uterus"
