I have another pretty uneventful story. I also went off it in the hope of getting libido back.

Libido is a tiny bit better, cycle is regular, maybe even a tad lighter, I get a few spots around my period but that was pretty much always the case, I have put on weight but that was happening before the change.

I'd just try it but be diligent with whatever birth control you use.

so far i'm hating it. i had really bad cramps last night and had super restless sleep, and today i've felt really sad for no reason and I have a PMS headache. now i remember why i usually skip my period. daaamn. miserable as fork. and my boyfriend is out of the country.

OH MY GOD, my libido is back with a vengeance!

Did anyone coming off the pill have poop related issues? After a really nasty sickness virus at Christmas I decided to use the opportunity to give up the pill even before I run out. It's only a few weeks so far, and I did have a couple of tearful days, but that seems to be over. Now though, I find myself to be constipated and that's never been a problem for me. I'm not eating or doing anything else differently so it's the only thing I can think of but I don't know if it's even likely that the pill could affect that. Anyone know?

Possible TMI: constipation, diarhea, and other poo problems have always accompanied my periods, but that went away while I was on hormonal BC. It's back now....

Don't be too scared, I'm sure it's different for everyone. I haven't ever had any issues and I've been off it for years. My period is really regular and has been since going off it. I use the Fertility Awareness Method to track it and I know the day before/the morning of the day it starts that it's going to start, so it's not unpredictable for me (I really did like knowing exactly when it would start when I was on the pill).

I saw the comment about hair loss and now I wonder if stopping the pill had anything to do with my hair thinning. Also, I feel better off the pill, but I stopped about 8-9 years ago, so it's hard to remember what I felt at the time. I had been on it for about 5-6 years.
