I've bruised my tailbone a few times and it was the nauseating kind of pain. I don't remember itching though - could that be from the cyst you had?
Yeah it could, I feel like it's healed because there's no more evidence of it being there, but yeah there definitely was me being poked with a knife and shiitake.
With the bruise, was there both pain like general all the time pain and also extra major pain if you put pressure on the area?

Oh god, I feel you(r tailbone!) I think i posted about this forever ago, but I went to a rollerderby trial with rachell37 one time and i fell flat on my forking arse and it was the absolute worst for DAYS. Hideous pain. Actually what made it worse was all the kumquats going "i'm not a lesbian, I'm not a lesbian!!! PANIC!!!" while icing my asparagus.

My order from Sock Dreams should be delivered tomorrow, and I just placed an order with Adagio Teas that I'm very excited about! I really super rarely 'treat' myself and get luxury things, but I decided that this year I was going to find a way to be nicer to myself, including not always telling myself 'no' when I want something I don't need. Buying stuff shouldn't make me so happy, but it doooooooeeeeesssssss.

forking roller derby is the source of so much pain.
There was a general dull aching pain all the time and much sharper hotter pain if I put pressure on the area. I couldn't lie on my back or sit down properly for at least a couple of weeks. I saw a physiotherapist for it who couldn't help me and the pain came back after a year but only if I'd been sat in the same position for a while. Whenever I moved there'd be a clicking sensation from the bone.
my didi (big sister in hindi) came over this afternoon and let me sleep on her for a while. she rubbed my back the whole time. it kinda felt like sleeping on my grandma's lap when i was a kid -- which was wonderful.
My band just got signed. The label is a small independent one in Manchester that has a presence with the Rebellion punk festival and takes bands over to Japan once or twice a year. They want to release an album for us in late 2013 or early 2014.
I also went with my sister this afternoon to adopt two guinea pigs. They're big, chunky, healthy boys and one resembles my dearly departed Barney.

Finishing my 18 mile run. Coach asked me to do the same course I ran three weeks ago, but to work on being stronger on the back half. She was looking for about a minute and a half off, but I took off six minutes! Pretty much all between mile 14 and the end. And I don't hurt half as bad as I did last time I ran that course. Woo!

This is the best thing I've seen all week, but I can't post it on FB because I have clients who will be offended. Spoiled for being bad language in a big font, not but no icky images.
Several good friends of all English Language Flavors, and my own family, immediately spring to mind. Also, special guest appearance by Dr Arthur Fuckingham-Wallaces, and subtle but loving dig at Canada.

Love that, Torque! The note made me laugh aloud.
I got to talk to Wilson today!! He was completely exhausted, but sounded in really good spirits. He had his Visa interview in Friday, and he's very happy with how it went. Now all we need is to get the petition for the waiver approved, and he can come home!!!!
