I'm at the Highline right now, waiting to see Jamie Kilstein.
Because I'm, like, vegan?

Because I'm, like, vegan? This is the only bit of my birthday I had half an opinion on... I want dinner and drinks at the Highline after work. Tell me their food is yummy!

Does anyone know where in these thirty pages is the list of the must-eats in Seattle?

There's this thread but that's more just a list of restaurants. I don't think we have a must-eats list. If we did, though, the Picard at Georgetown Liquor would be at the top of it. Followed by Mighty-O donuts.

Last minute! Anybody interested in a fine sandwich at Highline or Georgetown Liquor tomorrow evening? I imagine Highline will be loud after 7 or so, right? If you like loud, I can do that.

I forgot, there will be the vegan girl scouts bake sale. I am pretty sure I will be going with some school friends and of course my little cookie monster.

signup.hamptoncreekfoods.com If anybody gets these and I don't, please let me try them. :) few things peas me off more than egg cruelty and I can't wait for some economic cruelty to the egg producers. If I get the sample then we can do a taste test at my house.
Also, their website is great but their founder could learn from Vaute Couture about being less modest about being better than animal abusers! I am half that he is adamantly vegan himself. Very glad!

Hey all, I have not read this whole thread but looking for a restaurant with vegan options specifically downtown. I have been to Wild Ginger before and thought that was good. I like Cyberdogs but want it to be more sit down and nicer (taking my mom).

I think Wild Ginger is always everyone's standard answer for that type of thing. There's a Mexican place in Pacific Place that has vegan options (upscale mall restaurant, so way less fancy than Wild Ginger but still sit down). Pan Africa in the market is also pretty good.
