I want to start cooking like I used to, even though I don't have the time. I need to ask for a raise. I need to find some days off (a raise will help that) so I can work on my writing projects. I want to do some more volunteering, and maybe foster some animals. Holy shizzle I need to plan my wedding. I need to learn to say no and not work seven days a week.

I need to apply for more jobs and really think about where I want to be in 10 years.

1. Have a steady work out routine going on. At least three times a week without fail.

2. Clean, organize, decorate, and polish up my house.

3. Sell said house and move to Portland Oregon!

1. Take at least 3 Udacity or other MOOC courses.
2. Watch at least one OIC movie each day (ASL news and stuff), and keep up with ASL so that I can take and pass ASL III and ASL IV this summer.
3. Practice guitar and piano at least 15 minutes a day, 4 days a week, each.
4. Pick something new to learn about each month. (For January, it's Basque culture.)

I want to keep somewhat on top of current events, spend less time doing nothing on the internets, and read more (though at this point, any reading is more reading). Also, I'd like to "learn" mindfulness. I have Mindfulness for Dummies on request from the library.

- Not overcommit myself. I already decided against taking on some more volunteer work, which kind of sucks but at the same time I think it'll be huge for allowing me to do better at uni.
- Manage my study better. No more scrambling to get things done in the last two weeks of the semester! A guy who works at an organisation that I volunteer with once a week is doing the same course as me, so I think he'll help to keep me on track.
- Get tattooed more, and in particular, finish my leg tattoos (I said this last year but I mean it this time)
- Be less lazy around the house. This means doing grown-up things like getting all our art framed, keeping on top of the cleaning so it's not some insurmountable task, and keeping the garden in check.
- Take better care of my nails.
- Climb Mount Kosciuszko (the highest mountain in Australia- it's not really that high so it's not that big a deal, but still!).
- Go to the snow. We've lived a few hours away from the snowfields for three years and still haven't gone, it's time to get on top of that!
- Go to South America.
- Run 5km without stopping.
- Get good enough at running that I think 5km was too easy a goal.
- Learn how to cartwheel.

Some inspiring stuff here!

I started off the year with just one resolution, which was to smile more. It's going pretty well so far, and I feel better for it!

I'm going to add some other goals, but not beat myself up if they don't happen.

- Learn basic Spanish.
- Eat all the fruit and veg I get in my weekly delivery, not having to compost some because I haven't got round to preparing it.
- Make serious progress with learning an instrument and really brush up on my ancient music theory.
- Get a video of me playing something on to YouTube!
- Continue to update my diary.

we are both really hunkering down with our savings in the beginning of this year. we hope to buy a house this spring/summer.

once we have a house, i really want to foster some animals.

those are the big things.

i always set up smaller goals, like reading a certain amount (70 books this year!), but the house is our big goal.

Umm let's see here

1 Write on weekdays, in the morning, 30 mins to 1hr
2 Overall and in general be more actively & proactively positive

That's a good number of things to commit to

Routine establishing seems to be going ok. I'm preparing my stuff for work the night before, getting up at roughly the same time on each workday and getting into work at around the same time, making sure I've got food to get me through the day, exercising and sleeping. I feel better for it.

So far I've been:
-Keeping up my grades (just passed two exams with the higest grade since the January 2nd.
-Eating way better - I've been getting more protein, and more vegetables every day. And I've cut a bit back on the unhealthy candy-snacking, in favor of healthier snacking.
-My french course is going well; I'm studying every day.
-As an added bonus, I've been a better friend as well - I am usually too busy to actually be a good friend most of the time. But so far, I've been good at catching up with my friends, inviting them for dinner, or asking them out for lunch. It feels awesome to have the time to hang out and NOT WORRY ABOUT WHAT I SHOULD BE DOING. School is awesome, but damn, it makes it hard focusing on anything else.
-In regards to exercise, I picked up my badminton racquets and shuttlecocks, and I just invited three friends to join my in a double match this month. I am definitely going to go swimming as well.

So far, so good. 2013 will be a good year!

I should have added ballet two times a week. It's 30 bucks for two two-hour classes, which is a financial commitment I'm struggling to justify, but it is SO good for me in so many ways and I love it. When I'm in class I don't think about anything else.

I want to get a job, and figure out what I want to do in the future.
I want to be more creative. fork non-existent self confidence.
I want to complete at least one running race and one bike race.
I want to start a blog. Or start my own business. Start doing anything.
