I dropped my phone and the screen is all forked up. It is usable but not pretty. I was due for an upgrade but I was holding out because I didn't really need a new phone yet and wasn't super excited about any of the new phones out. Sigh. (This also qualifies as a first world problem)

Last night I ran into, in this order
The girl I was dating until a few days ago, with the other girl she's seeing who she apparently likes more than me
A girl my ex-girlfriend cheated on me with
A girl I was dating in October who I was ridiculously infatuated with and then rejected me
And I'm still angsty about all of it and even Taylor Swift isn't making me feel better.

I woke up to a Cat Poocoppalypse. Cat poo EVERYWHERE. Rubbed on the kitchen floor, on the mat in the kitchen, I assume on the carpet, matted with litter on his asparagus, on his leg.
And he is not my cat! But I'm not exactly going to leave the house smeared in poo because his person (my roommate) is having a lie-in.
Such a bullshiitake (catshit) way to start the day.

Pretty damn gross body shiitake below So remember that abscess I had, and got it lanced, only to then fall basically RIGHT on the area probably well before it healed? Yeah I don't think it liked that. Woke up today and felt really tight in my tailbone area and was all swollen there too, like a diameter of a tennis ball of swollen. Oh and the area was reddish. So I figure I might have this abscess problem again and see what would happen if I massage the area to see if there's still any spots for the gunk to get out, ad maybe drain it myself. Yeah, there was definitely still a spot for that shiitake to drain out. I had to do it in the bathtub because there was so much pus. I probably would not be over-shooting if I said there was a cup's worth. Well, I feel less pressure there now, so that's nice, but damnit, I'm going to have to back to the doctor, and probably go on anti-biotics. Argh.

j-dub, your roommate is really overstepping! Did you ask her(?) to clean up after the cat? I would have at least interrupted her lie in, but I hear you that its better to clean up poop than let it be tracked all over the house.

Just found out a friend of mine (a transgender teenager) tried to kill himself again last week. I'm pretty good friends with this kid's parent, who is going out of her mind doing everything she can to help their child...it's not a situation where the parents are forking up or anything, she's legitimately doing everything in her power to support her kid and it's not helping and my heart is just breaking for them right now.

CQ, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I believe you that his mom is doing everything right. Unfortunately, we live in a forked up world and this kid has to deal with growing up in this forked up world, and the best parents in the world can't protect their kids from all of that. But I'm sure you are the best friend both the parent and kid could wish for right now and it makes me feel a little bit better to know that you are in their lives.

I know R.O.! I just couldn't today because of my work schedule, and if I miss any more work I'll be canned. I can probably go tomorrow before work, if there's availability at the doc's.

gak. i have just started a course of antibiotics again and i had forgotten how sick they make me. i have a month of this. including my beach vacation.
and of course the kid seems to think that my antacids are the most delicious treat in the world, so when i need them, they're gone.
i want to go running, but i seem to have lost all the bones in my body. maybe my acid stomach digested them. i'm not sure how i am going to make it through today.
people with real illnesses, you have my great respect. i don't know how people can live with stuff like this.
