Hey, I just recently moved to good ol' Baltimore this summer and already I've fallen in love with its contradictions. I was wondering where our veggie community's at? I shouldn't really talk since I spend 99.9% of my time in my apartment, cooking, studying, or fiddling around. (0.1% at the Farmer's Market on Sunday!) When I was out in Fell's I saw this place called Liquid Earth. Any thoughts on it? I was actually out for Halloween, so I obviously didn't stop in, but it looked intriguing. Anywhere else that's cool? Any cool people who want to try these places? And because it makes me giggle.

Brick Oven pizza is the best vegan pizza I've ever had anywhere. I loved Yabba Pot and One World Cafe is ok, had brunch and dinner there and wasn't blown away but it was decent. I haven't been in bmore for a couple years though, I miss it!

I feel bad because I haven't been to Baltimore in a couple years and I live an hour away? I keep meaning to go there for some reason or another.

My sis was telling me about a Sticky Rice in Richmond and was raving about its awesomeness. The original is in Richmond, there is one in DC and one in Baltimore as of a few months ago. Not sure if ownership is the same but the DC and Baltimore are both pretty punky with a fair amount of creative dishes.

I live in Baltimore! I don't know how I missed this thread. In addition to psychwon there's at least one other vegan ppker (but she doesn't post much anymore). There used to be a vegan drinks monthly, but the organizer got busy, which I totally understand. But I still miss it.
Liquid Earth is good! If you drive you'll also want to check out One World Cafe and the Yabba Pot. I don't drive so I stick to what's my neighborhood, but if you ever want to grab lunch some weekend or something let me know!

I'm 45 minutes from Baltimore, so I don't know all the places, but I LOVE the Yabba Pot. It inspires me to come up with new recipes. :)

Hello! I don't really eat out that much, but B.O.P. And The Yabba Pot are both really good. Some how I've never been to Liquid Earth even though I'm in Fells Point pretty often. I've been meaning to go forever. There's also a place in Clarksville that is good, but its a bit of a drive, called The Great Sage. I'd be down to hangout and grab some food sometime.
Oh, and thanks Meghan :). Emily, you should come visit again!
OH(Number 2), that shirt is amazing, and I really want.

We spent a lot of time chilling around there on their breaks, but only recently I actually went to Great Sage to eat. I felt like I made a brilliant discovery! And even better, they do brunch. Yummy...

Great Sage is the best! I used to work at Roots too.
And the BEST Chinese veg place is Mr. Chan's in Pikesville!
Who's still on here? We should maybe have a group date.

:) I'm in Hampden. My favorite place around here is probably Golden West.
Tried any good places lately?

Golden West's buffalo tofu is amazing. And knowing how to get free games out of the pinball machine is a plus. Hah.

I really don't live far from Baltimore, I drive, and I should get out there more often instead of being a recluse!

I live like an hour from Baltimore but I haven't been there in over 4 years. And I've been there probably 2-3 times total since moving to Maryland.
