Ha--Pinko! I looked a bit last night, but didn't see anything that had the nice side seams. I'm not giving up though! Out of curiosity, where is that jacket from?

Nordstrom. Yeah, I looked in my usual places and didn't find anything. But you are a super shopper! You will prevail!

Good try, but I wanted something more pricey looking. Thank you though! Most of the sweaters I see on the punk sites are really cheap looking with cheap buttons and stuff. The CB sweater, while neon and 80s had a softness to it that could be played up or down.

Peanut butter chips? I used to love baking with these. And eating them on cereal :p Can I buy any anywhere? Or make my own?

I want boots that I can wear under work pants, but flat. Like this: but vegan obvs, and as flat as possible. Am I asking too much?

Thanks, ndp! I saw that one when I was looking, too. It looks kind of weirdly boxy in the picture, but I think I might order it and see what it's like in person. Macy's website always has the worst photos.

Macy's website always has the worst photos. I think it's the knitted side panels making the non-vegan one so flattering. It's a really nice jacket with the seams and neckline. Now if you were interested in a faux leather biker jacket/perfecto, I found a lot of them! LW, that would be awesome! Now all we need is someone to foot the bill!

Hi!
I haven't been to this forum in a long time (offspring+college won the battle versus internet free time). I apologize for barging in suddenly all demandish-like, but I'm in desperate need of hiking boots designed for snake bite prevention. All the ones I'm finding are leather. I'm open to creating some type of home made version, but I have no idea where to start. I'm going to be spending the next few months wandering around some wooded acreage that's been undisturbed for over a decade. Copperheads and Timber Rattlesnakes are abundant here and hard to spot in all the fallen leaves. I'll be working along a stream digging up field stones, clearing fallen logs, and in general making a nuisance of myself in the poor snakes' habitat. In theory the boots should help us both survive while we (eventually) learn to coexist ;p
I feel like I'm really grasping at straws here, but I would be so grateful for any suggestions even on wear to look for information. The only people that seem to buy these boots appear to be hunters, and they don't have the same issue with leather.

I am looking for sterling/gold bone jewelry, not cheap halloween stuff. Most of it is cast from animal bones, I am not into that.

Jigglypuff wrote: Reese's PB Cups! I want to make cookies with them. The good thing about making peanut butter cups for baking is that you can just make them in sheets. If they're going to be chopped up and put in cookies, there's no need to form them into cups. Just do a layer of chocolate, a layer of peanut butter goodness, and another layer of chocolate in a pan. So much easier but just as delicious.
