Haha, that reminds me how funny it was to be in the UK in January. People were FREAKING out about the temps dropping to 0C and getting a cm of snow (like not even joking, it was on the news). My aunt and uncle were going on and on about how "icy" the wind was on this lovely crisp sunny day that couldn't have been colder than 4C. I didn't tell them I was wearing my fall jacket (the one I usually have to stop wearing in October). Meanwhile, we had 4 feet of snow back in Montreal and had to build our car a snow fort and had a sherpa trail up to our front steps because the snow plows hadn't come through yet. Most of the first week we were there, it was between 10 and 14 C, and practically balmy.

Bodhi, those beautiful eyes! And Walter & Ezra! I love photos of angry kids. littlebird wrote: Haha, that reminds me how funny it was to be in the UK in January. I can't hear you, it's snowing. My husband hates it when it snows in London because that makes the national news, even when it is not snowing anywhere else, but at the moment, it is snowing pretty much everywhere. We even had a few flakes.

I'm too lazy to figure out if/how I could post these, so I'm just going to link it. We had a friend take Will's 1 year pictures a few weeks ago. He was not having it at first, but in the end we got some cute shots!

Last night, I was sitting around with Freya and the man in the evening and she, for some reason only known to her, starting bringing me bibs from the basket that lives under her changing table. After much pointing and discussion, it was clear that she intended for me to wear them on my head (except for the first one, which went around my neck...of course). At the end, I decided to take a picture and this is the result. After much MUCH giggling during the process, she then makes this face:

Too cute Freya. I thought we had 10 or so more years before they starting looking at their parents with such disdain!
Love the birthday boy.
