I'd be super surprised if this is what you heard, but it's badass song anyway.

Have you heard him do R. Kelly's "The World's Greatest"? It's pretty much my favourite thing that has ever happened.

Broseph, you are correct. Not the right song, but I dig it.

I'm totally going to be calling this thread up in 5 years when I finally figure it out. It will be a triumphant day.

Keep going back to Starbucks to see if you can figure it out. Don't even buy anything, just go there and sit down, listen to whatever music and then leave. I'd ask my husband, he is good about that but I'm figuring he'd guess what others have already.

I keep thinking about this thread and I keep thinking about the song "Mermaid" by Train. I don't think this song is very hipster, but the "beauty in the waterrrrr" part is always nesting in my head.

i have! he does a great "ignition," too. there should be an app that lets you turn any song into the bonnie "prince" billy cover version.

Do you remember part of the tune? There's a search engine where you sing part of the tune into your computer's microphone, and it compares it with all the songs in its database and tells you what it is. I'm serious. It's awesome.

I had a peaceful month and a half but it's back with a vengeance. I made an audioboo that is probably in no way helpful, but I'm desperate!

*On second thought, it's probably a finger-picked guitar, not a banjo.

Your audioboo sounds like Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac.

That is what I thought it sounded like too! Now all I hear is Fleetwood Mac.

If its not Fleetwood I'll eat my hat. The entire Rumours album is so good. I learned to drive to that album!

It sounds like the song from episode three of Cromartie High School.
