I am truly curious to see how they're going to wrap up all the alien business. Though I suppose they've wrapped up enough storylines at this point for us to work out the remaining 18 in the last 2 episodes of the season.

There's been rumors about season 3 maybe taking place in the south and maybe having something to do with witches and/or voodoo. If this is true, I'm going to be so happy.

Yeah, but weren't the rumors about Season 2 about it supposedly taking place in Louisiana or Florida or something? I'm not going to hold my breath on that one, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be stoked if it were true.

as much as season 2 annoyed me with its 50 red herrings, i would watch season 3 if it took place in louisiana.

Honestly, there was a little too much closure for me. It felt like everything was wrapped up neatly with a bow. They could've killed the alien bit for the entire season and it would have felt way more cohesive than it ended up being. I'm very happy we didn't really end up seeing much of the actual aliens, but they didn't add a HELL of a lot to the show that they couldn't have worked out in some other way. But the whole, "Oh, Jude is messed up in the brain and they went into the woods and the aliens/children fixed her!!!" really kind of annoyed me. Felt too Deus Ex Machina. Also, call me an idiot, but what did she die of? Cocaine? Did the aliens give her cancer? What?

I really don't like the whole alien thing and I don't like that nothing was really revealed about them at the end.

i could have done without the whole entire kit story line because in the end, he was just 'some guy'. i'm still processing the last episode but i think the ending/killing off the characters makes the season worth watching. some other opinion: http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/2013/01/am ... -ends.html

I finally caught up! I'm really impressed. Around ep 5 I thought that the show had spun out of control like a 5 year old explaining an imaginary cloud forest. But the last 2 episodes were touching, beautiful and even made sense. Bravo.
