Esme, those are great! They'd be such a good housewarming gift! Kittee, those sweaters are so gorgeous. I love the stripes and the detail on the blue sweater.

This weekend I ended up taking my stack of granny squares that I thought I'd never get to and sewing them together and weaving in all the ends. Now I have a mini blanket, but since it came out looking better than expected, I want to actually finish it! Blanket in progress by ijustdiedinhere, on Flickr

Do you think that would work if I cut it into strips?

They're not part of the pattern, I just added a large one row buttonhole where I wanted the hole on each sleeve. And yes, I think that meshy stuff would work, if you could get the strands long enough. xo kittee

Phoenix, I made a white totoro, too from this pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... -amigurumiI ran out of yarn for it's bottom, so I made him sitting on a leaf!

Whee! ijdi, that's so cute! I've made 2 tiny white Totoros by now, thinking I might give the second one to a friend... But they look so lovely together on my new bookshelf that I haven't managed to separate them yet. Guess I'll have to make a third one if I want to give one away... ;)

My derby trainer gave me a knitting book with patterns for knitting derby-related stuff, like mitellas and jammer-hats etc.
