Soccer Coach Crush texted me out of the blue last night. Not to hang out, just to see how I was doing. Which is...nice? He's supposed to maybe hang out with me tonight, but honestly, I don't even know if I have a crush on him any more, considering his disappearing act as of late. Maybe it's just a big misunderstanding. But maybe not. I'm forging ahead, but cautiously.

I also have a new/old crush. An ex of mine that I have maintained a good relationship with, who lives out of town, is coming to town soon. Whenever he does, he always calls me to hang out, but we are rarely able to get together. He always insinuates that he wants to do more than just talk, and since I'm usually dating someone, I always hedge his hangout requests. Not that I don't want to have a physical relationship with him, because I definitely do, I consider him one of the sexiest guys I've ever been with. So anyway, we've made plans to hang out when he comes to town in a couple weeks. And it's making me fluttery in my tummy, because if physical stuff happens, it's gonna be awesome. (we're both pretty clear on the fact that we don't want to actually get back together...just good clean fun and that's it. fine with me.)

Unnnggggghhhhh plans changed from Wed to Tues... Dudes... That's TOMORROW! Je suis exciteeeee.

This is with B.P. crush. He's so far off from my usual type but so so exactly a type that i've always had major boners for but just felt was too far out of reach for me. (Really confident, adult, professional, a parent, dominant...) (but at the same time he also is super fun and silly too yay)

Do you know this literally means "I'm sexually excited"? It could quite possibly mean exactly what you want it to mean (smirk), but I can't be sure!

My crush cooked me vegan food. Didn't have any notable protein but I don't care. The first person ever to cook vegan for me (not just a variation on whatever meaty concoction they're eating). This one's a keeper! And he told me he's smitten! Too many exclamation marks but I'm so excited!!!

Haha I remember my ninth grade french teacher explaining this to us because we'd learned it just meant "excited" in middle school. Funny funny.

I kind of have a crush on one of the professors at the university where I'm working. This wouldn't bother me so much, except that he was MY professor when I was in school, and also is at least 15 (probably more like 20) years older than me. But...he's oddly handsome and so smart and an excellent artist and he is just awkwardly backward enough to make me feel all squishy inside. Stop it!

PPK I need your help!

My crush/girl I'm seeing I guess is going back to her hometown for 9 days (these nine days happen to encompass Vday, though I don't feel a need to make a thing of that at all), and I want to get her a cute present before she leaves! Like something for the plane or something? I wish I could think of a book to give her to read on the plane but I don't really know what she likes to read. And I don't have any other ideas. But I want to be like hey I really like you here's this thing because I really like you and stuff maybe you should think about me while you're gone or something.

Maybe a CD of music she could listen to on her iPod/phone/music listening device if she uploads it to her computer and adds it? A journal to doodle in? Fancy mind puzzles?

My friend once gave her crush a disposable camera as a going-away present. I thought that was a great idea.
