In that song Hot N Cold, what is she saying in the first verse? My friend is positive she means the first one and I am pretty sure it's the second one. This came up at lunch and I won't sleep until I know the truth.

I think it would be the first one, that's what I got just from hearing it on a top 40 radio station quite a lot when it first was popular. In fairness, I didn't watch the video yet and it could have changed my opinion. Maybe later!

i have managed to block this song out for the what, seven years its been floating around, and now i am shocked, shocked i tell you, to hear that these are the words. Lady Gaga and Beyonce should run her over with the Pussy Wagon for that one comment alone.

When I first heard this song in the grocery store I swore she was saying "like a duck changes clothes." I kind ofthink she means option 1, too, but it's not very clear.

Also I don't think Katy Perry is an idiot at all. Not saying she's a musical genius, but she's certainly worked her asparagus off to get where she is. And also some of her songs are totally offensive. But yeah.
