Did you guys see the video of katy perry singing firework with the autistic girl playing piano. Never cried so much in my life.

ETA:: you can skip to about 3 minutes just to get to the song.

I gots nothing against KP. Here are things I like about Katy Perry: I like how she dyes her hair different colors. I like her sense of color (fashion-wise)--she's like a confetti explosion of the color rainbow for the eyes. I love that she named her kitty Kitty Purry. Her voice sounds pretty when she sings. That's about all I know about her. Oh and that she was married to Russell Brand, but I don't know whether that's a good thing so it didn't make my list because I don't know the man or their relationship but I guess it wasn't good because they divorced. And she's dating John Mayer now. (Still?) Waiting for the song output post-breakup, I guess. Everyone should date Taylor Swift, then we'd know all the singing celebrities bidness. The end.

Tangent. Can somebody direct this early 80's deathrock goth-pop lover to some good modern pop? I actually love the baroque music stealing of popular music yet it usually does such a shitty job. I.e., why can't everything be as good as Britney Spears' "Toxic?" I keep checking on Spears' music to see if she stuck with the non-crap but that has not held. Wah. I am going to listen to "Toxic" and Goldfrapp now.

I'm convinced if Katy Perry did a Kitty Purry song, she'd break free of the tired autotune type pop mold she's warbled her way into and develop an underground cult following consisting of at least one new fan (i.e., me).

Yes! And Yung Humma's wig. I think they think they look cool like that. Have you ever read an interview with them? Or do you follow them on twitter? If they are joking, they are committing harder than Stephen Colbert.

being a child-free vegan, what should my answer to "fried or fertilized" be without sounding brushoffish? (tofu scramble?)

i don't really read twitter all that often, and nope. hadn't read any interviews.

i could never tell if that was a wig or not. i just assumed he was part native american (which he does kinda look like he can be) as for commitment, what about pretty raheem? that's not something you can just take off at the end of the day.

Whatever, haters.

You don't know how excited I was when my little eyes saw this thread.
OH, and I think she broke up with John Mayer now.
OH, and I'm like 100% positive the answer to this poll is option 1.
