I'm just letting you know that it's available for pre-order. (For me a very cheap price so yay!).

I asked Tami and she said every recipe has an inside option.

I wondered about this one, grilling doesn't quite constitute the same thing here in Oz, guess my grill pan would get put to some good use with this.

Just a heads up! The publication date has been pushed back to spring. And yes, every recipe has indoor and outdoor options, using either a grill pan, griddler type thing, or in a few cases, the oven.

too bad the book won't be available earlier than spring, i would love to give this to my hubby for his b'day as he does like to grill but has not been lately since i've taken over the cooking since i went vegan.

Oh that is great there is indoor options. I had put it on my wishlist the other day even though I don't own a BBQ.

Thanks for letting us know, Tamasin. It's a shame to hear it won't be released in January (that's the date listed on The Book Depository); I would have loved to have Grills Gone Vegan to cook from during the summer months here. :-)

That's okay Tami; a Spring release makes perfect sense for those in the Northern hemisphere! I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of it during the following summer and I can always invest in an indoor grill in the meantime. :-)

I tested lots and lots of recipes for this in a cold wet England without an outdoor grill. Some of them would probably have been even better outside but everything worked perfectly in a combination of electric griddle, stovetop or oven baked. What I liked best is that it contains a whole host of things to grill that you might not have considered - so much more than just chuck a protein on the grill and serve it with salad.

Since the Amazon page gives NO info, is there a listing of recipes somewhere? I may be interested but the Amazon page leaves much to be desired.

linanil, great point! I'll email the publisher and see if they can update that page since the release date is only about a month away!

that would be awesome! we were discusisng this in the upcoming 2013 cookbook thread and i was so excited to see the publication date got moved up! i'm not so much a pre-orderer, but it's on my wish list and i will be buying it when it's available..... just in time for early spring and my hubby's b'day. can't wait!

We'll see if they'll update! Thanks for the enthusiasm, I'm excited about it, too. All the recipes can be made on an outdoor grill, but also have stove top grill pan/electric griddler options.

Yes! And I got an email back saying that the rest gets updated when the book actually gets sent to the printer, so the info would be concrete. So not long now!

Yeah, I noticed during my bi-monthly amazon vegan book search that the cover had disappeared! There was a cover up at one point, right?
