Oooh man. Tomorrow is my date with Big Pimpin Crush (who at this point is main crush). Aaaahhhhh. Nervusssss, but not because being around him is nervous-making for me (which is nice!), but because I'm nervous I'm going to get hurt! I'm already imagining boyfriend-times. And when we started this crazy thing we were both very much all about wanting casual. BUT he seems to be wanting more too... I think! Aaahhhhhh. Did I tell ya'lls yet that when I hung out with him in the morning before work like I did, he told me I gave him butterflies?! Omg. Stop it. Don't tell me that! Wait do! Do tell me that! Ahhhh no. Stop it!

Internet crush appears in my dreams now.

I kind of have a crush on one of the professors at the university where I'm working. This wouldn't bother me so much, except that he was MY professor when I was in school, and also is at least 15 (probably more like 20) years older than me. But...he's oddly handsome and so smart and an excellent artist and he is just awkwardly backward enough to make me feel all squishy inside. Stop it!

PPK I need your help!

My crush/girl I'm seeing I guess is going back to her hometown for 9 days (these nine days happen to encompass Vday, though I don't feel a need to make a thing of that at all), and I want to get her a cute present before she leaves! Like something for the plane or something? I wish I could think of a book to give her to read on the plane but I don't really know what she likes to read. And I don't have any other ideas. But I want to be like hey I really like you here's this thing because I really like you and stuff maybe you should think about me while you're gone or something.

Maybe a CD of music she could listen to on her iPod/phone/music listening device if she uploads it to her computer and adds it? A journal to doodle in? Fancy mind puzzles?

My friend once gave her crush a disposable camera as a going-away present. I thought that was a great idea.

Maybe a cute travel pillow? I have one that's shaped like a pink kitty cat!

And this might be silly, but to add to the puzzle/activity book thing... I might be 25, but I still love coloring books! Unicorns Are Jerks could be a fun idea. If she's a silly person like me, that is.

Combine cookies with the Unicorns Are Jerks coloring book. If she's going by mass transit, not driving herself, also possibly a few nips of booze with silly labels like "in case of kid kicking the back of your seat," "for when the person next to you wants to have a conversation," etc.

But cookies and a coloring book would pretty much make me want to marry a person immediately, so you can't go wrong with that.

Also, a crushworthy person to distract myself a bit with.

You guys all have such cute ideas. I feel like I'm not that cute. This is what I ended up getting her. (She's flying, not driving, obviously.)

Aaaaand I have no idea whether the girl I might accidentally be starting to get a crush on is single or even attracted to girls.
It's really not cool to be bi and have no gaydar.
But whatever. She likes ships and free-reeds, so in any case I want to be friends with her. It just might be complicated by the fact that I'm horribly scared of pretty girls.

UGH YOU GUYS. HAVING A CRUSH IS SO HARD. I WANT TO SEE HIM EVERY DAY. I think it's only been 2 days and I feel like it's been forever.
