Friday and Saturday nights tend to be bad for me, but most others are ok as long as they aren't too late.

I can potentially do Wednesday. My schedule just got a whole lot busier, so I'll have to see.

Yes to seeing Jordan!
Went here last week, love love love. Gonna become a member soon. Had the jackfruit pulled pork (yessss), partner had the veggie burger (so good), best fries, love the boots, and aside from a couple beers, we tried one of their cocktails (their moscow mule). Cocktail was delicious, but it's hard for me to come to terms with paying $9 for a drink, especially when it's on the smaller side. Really, everything is kind of expensive, but can be worth it for the quality, and happy hour is SUCH a deal. Like, I think we saved $18 kind of deal. Also, feel like I have tons of options for food and booze.
Looking forward to trying the breakfast sammich (probably this weekend), and can't wait to see what they do with that patio in the summer.

boo, I will be in Austin then but someone eat those fries for me! I also realized last night that I have only had the mimosa/bellini (tiny, but buy one get one on the weekends for brunch) and baby jessica, which isn't really a drink.

Let's keep in mind that we can have more than one social event....so if ya can't make it to this one there are options.

This might be a lot easier if we had a... FB group? for us? Is that a thing? Like, not an event, but kinda like one? Group?

My evening schedule is fairly insane these days. I think a Tuesday or Wednesday would work!

Does anyone else find the food and drink.....bad..... here? I love the ambiance, super love the photo booth, but the drinks are weak, and the food is really expensive and not that great. I want to love this place so hard, but am repeatedly disappointed by the food, and, worse, the cocktails.

For the most part, I totally dig the food for what it is. I tried the jalapeno-cheese fries the other day, and wasn't into it, but I'll gladly stick with the fries and just some ranch. It's still 'the' place so many of my social gatherings and meetings want to be at, so I usually go and try a special or pass on food. I know they've changed menus a few times and have been playing around with dishes (and actually heard, rumor-mill wise, that they've changed owners?). For cocktails, I've only ordered a couple, and the Rum Club was ridiculously, drunk-for-hours boozy, for me. Aye yi yi! I tend to stick to cider on tap, there.

Most recently, I ordered the kale slaw and it was wet and mushy, and the mac n' cheese, which was $9 for a bowl of blah noodles in nooch sauce. Both were disappointing. Both cocktails (one of the whiskey ones, and one that was kind of like a mint julep) were watery, and the julep-esque thing has coconut water in it and we both thought it was flat out gross. I'm really disappointed because I love the space and want to support them, but the food and drinks are so much better at Bye & Bye and Sweet Hereafter, so unless they shake up their game a bit I don't know that I'll go back, unless it's just for wine or beer and fries.

That is such a bummer! You make me want to stay away from their cocktails, for sure. I'm a 'member' so I use my monthly drink tokens for $6-priced drinks (the cider, most beers, bubbles) and not the cocktails. Has anyone tried the newish mac & cheese burger? I'm one for happy hour prices (and couldn't see myself paying full price for it), and happened to be there when it was first debuted, as luck would have it, and enjoyed it (again, for a round mac & cheese patty on a bun + imo, mandatory HOT SAUCE), though it's looked a lot more....battered, in the photos I've seen since.

So, I'm happy enough with the cocktails, I like the burgers (the beet one keeps getting better - and the mac and cheese one is delish but ridiculous and way filling), and I love those kind of shoestring fries. I also like the atmosphere a lot and all of the events they do (cinco de mayo was really fun). Plus patio.
That all being said, I hate the prices. I think everything should be $1-$2 cheaper than it is, especially cocktails. We don't live in SF. And it's crazy to me that it's more expensive to eat/drink here than Sweet Hereafter, a place that I already think is pushing it on prices. I would go here far more often and try more cocktails if it was cheaper.
