I'm stretching my ear lobes from 22mm to 24mm and the left ear just will not stretch. I've never had this problem before! I'm bringing out the bondage tape but it's kinda making me reconsider stretching my lip piercing.

i'm done with the second tick book! i don't have to think about ticks for at least two weeks! i'll have to finalize the files after the authors have reviewed them, and that's usually a pain, because they get all uppity about the editing and i have to hold their hands and tell them they're pretty and explain every single change i've suggested, even if it's just, like, verb-noun agreement, but still, two weeks! in the meantime, i get to start working on a different book that's due on the 18th.

I'm in so much pain with my back. I could only manage a really short walk with the dog after work today. I didn't want to risk going to the woods with her incase I ended up in too much pain and ended up stranded far away from the car. So tonight she was so hyper I had to go out again. I made it as far as the bottom of my street when she decided to try bolt after a cat that ran in front of us making my back pain 10 times worse. I had a super hard time keeping in the tears while I shuffled like a 90 year old woman back home.

Do you use a head harness or "control" body harness? Might make your life easier.

The neighbour is around the next 2 days so at least I will have company so I can take her out on really long walks so she will be tired.

I just heard my neighbor in the apartment across the hall belch. That guy is SO LOUD.

I'm really not earning my salary today. I've done maybe an hour of actual work in the past 8 hours. It's super slow and I want to go home!!

Despite taking a really strong painkiller that causes drowsiness (as in knocks you out cold) and my night time anti-depressant which also causes sedation I am wide awake.

Wish me luck folks, I have tentatively found a place to live. I'll know by the end of the day.

This city is HORRIBLE for housing if you aren't pulling in a solid $50-60K a year. So much competition. So many crappy, overpriced apartments that get scooped up in a second.

It's possible that they interact that way. For whatever reason, if I take muscle relaxant + nausea meds, I don't get too drowsy, but on their own, they both knock me of for a solid 10-15 hrs.

I splurged $5 on a bag of that Just Corn snack stuff. Molly adores those and she is worth a $5 treat. Problem is I've already eaten 1/3 of the bag. Eek. I didn't buy them for me--those things are too damn expensive, but the bag will last her a couple months. Bad bird mommy.

Pretty much totally why I left.

It's awful! I'm getting more and more tempted to move even if grad school doesn't happen. I'm sick and tired of being broke constantly, and paying too much for shitty housing.

Honestly, I am known for how shiitake luck I have* and the cheery demeanor I keep in the face of it...I am ready for that to change! The luck, ideally.
