There aren't any totally vegan formulas, but all of the labels I read of soy formulas when I was picking one out were vegan except for Vitamin D.
Hope you feel better soon!

No, there is no vegan formula, but it's because they use D3 instead of D2. Maybe I got that backwards? I can never remember. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Also, in case this is not clear, I would totally use the formula! You do your best, but sometimes you have to cut yourself a break.

Aw, get well soon buddy. The same thing happened to me when I had mastitis recently, and yeah, like everyone else said, soy formula is "vegan enough" when you have a baby who needs to eat!

I hope you feel better soon and can stay hydrated! Its so hard to remember to keep drinking enough fluids when you feel terrible.

Thanks eveeryone! I am lucky to have my husband here taking care of everything.
Still very worn down, but I did actually sleep some last night for the first time in days. G hated the formula, but Mr B said the second time she took 5 oz. She is much perkier than she was which is great.

I was on a water only diet for a few days after the twins were born, and after all the complications I had, it took almost 10 days for my milk to really come in, and even then they were losing weight. We supplemented for a little while until things worked themselves out. You do what you gotta do.
I hope you're back on your feet soon!

99.9% of the time! I did nothing but feed on demand and pump for weeks and weeks, and slept sitting up nursing. I think I was partially determined because people kept pushing supplementing and telling me it would be too hard to exclusively breastfeed twins. I figured out how to tandem nurse lying down, and I eat and drink pretty much around the clock, but so far so good.
I don't want to thread hijack, but I'll try and share more details in the lactation thread when I have some free time.

You are awesome DTBK! I'm looking forward to hearing more about how you and the twins are doing!

Update:Baby haaaaated the formula like it was the worst thing ever. A friend gave me some fenugreek and another herbal thing and my milk is back in. She has a stuffy nose that makes her less inclined to try suckling but once it starts trickling into her mouth she's all over it.
DTBK, I too think you're awesome!
