The 2013 agenda's up!! I'm so excited... iPhone photography, a MoFo & a Zine workshop, veganism, feminism & social justice, so much awesomeness. Coincidentally I'm booking flights today too.

Yay! Me & Nick arrive the Friday before (the 17th?) and then he leaves to fly back to the UK on the Tuesday so I'll definitely be there on the Wednesday!

Coolio! I arrive in L.A Thurs May 16, will spend the weekend there then fly to Portland on Wed but I have book that yet! Are you staying in one of the suggested hotels nearby?

It looks like I am probably not going to be able to make it after all. I already paid for my registration. Would anyone be interested in buying it at a discounted price? big sad face for me big happy face for someone else. PM me if you are interested. I'm thinking like 200.00.

I'm kind of debating just going to Portland during the conference, but not going to the conference. I figure a big vegan city full of vegans might be a nice place to visit.

I just wanted to say that I am HELLA excited for this and am going to DANCE at the Galarama until I can't dance anymore and then I am going to sit on the curb outside of Food Fight and stuff food into my mouth with both hands and it's going to be awesome.

A few of the events, like the galarama and pop up shop, are open to the public. You need a ticket for the galarama. So you can still mingle with vegans.

This is exactly what I'm doing. With so many of my friends heading there, it'll be like a big field trip. I'll get to be the bad influence trying to get everyone to play hookey & eat the city with me.

That is rad. I am really, really stoked for the Upton's/FFL pop-up shop and hope I have a moment to stop by and fill my face with greatness.

Here's the official blogfeed sign up if anyone wants in: http://vidavegancon.com/2013/04/03/blogfeed/

Super duper final tickets sweep!! http://vidavegancon.com/2013/04/07/tick ... an-con-ii/

If anyone is local or going to be around and wants to be involved but doesn't want to buy a ticket, the Silent Auction/Galarama seeks volunteers: http://galarama.org/volunteer/ (and is open to the public) or email VidaVeganConference [at] gmail.com to get involved more.

I actually had a stress dream about VVC last night in which I forgot that I had speaking assignments, and Ryan from T.O.F.U. was like "how the hell could you forget?!" (FYI, Ryan would never say that, so it stung all the more). When I get back to Canada I will be scrambling to get organized.
