I think you can expect that there will be more, because that is how they train the followers. There is one more animal thing where they try to teach someone to suffocate a frog in a jar. At least, I think it was a frog. To me, the human violence is much worse in this show. It's awful. But I still kind of want to know what is going to happen, so I guess I am watching it for now. But every time I do, I keep wondering why. Maybe I'll stop after the next episode.

I like it but don't love it. I just don't think Kevin Bacon can carry a series. But then I've never been a huge KB fan. And yeah, the animal violence stuff was off-putting (it was a mouse, not a frog, btw). But James Purefoy - I don't know why*, but I kinda love him.
*OK, maybe it was because he was balls-ass naked in Rome.

I am loving it. The dude took off at the dog scene. He has a major major thing with dogs. That's his number one rule. Wish I'd read this first. I am mucho glad I didn't watch it before bed. I would have nightmares. This will be a Saturday afternoon hulu show.

This sounds so up my alley. Minus animal stuff but if it's only one scene here and there, I can probably struggle through. Not a KB fan at all, though. I'll have to see if I can find this online.

I've watched the 3 eps that have aired here and I'm totally hooked.
I do love me some Kevin Bacon! Me too! Though I Sky+ it so I can watch it in the afternoon and not worry about nightmares too much!

I'm watching it. I don't even really like the Poe thing, but this show is so forked that I will watch it until the bitter end. Although, I was all sorts of pissed when they I mean, c'mon! When is this going to stop being a thing!

You'd think with Kevin Bacon's six degrees they could get at least a couple of racialized folks who would last more than an episode.

It has gotten so ridiculous with this with any horror/suspense type show or movie that we basically assume its like the red shirted crew members on Star Trek but obviously far more offensively predictable.

Just wrapping up the first episode - sooooo enjoying it. The dog scene was sad but really, a show about teaching serial killers is going going to have to at least suggest some terrible animal abuse.
Debating to start second episode or vacuum before going to work...... ugggh decisions.

I think it's great for a network show. I feel like one of the cops has to be secretly in on it. I currently suspect the pretty dark haired lady.

This had one of the best pilots I've seen in awhile.
And I'll watch pretty much anything with James Purefoy in it.

Didn't vacuum. Definitely watched the second episode. Hubby ended up getting in to it too. Totally have a new show to base my life around since Hoarders is over.
Also, this is probably the first time I've ever liked a Kevin Bacon character. I think he's a good fit and is doing it justice.

Because when she gave Joe the book it sort of seemed like she smirked at him, so I thought she was in on it. But then when she interrogated him and her other actions have made me think maybe not. She's seems to be too clued up on cults to be taken in by Joe. So I cannot decide about her at all!
