Went to Nami today. It was great! I am going to have more herbed cream cheese in my future. Too bad I don't live here. I might be able to make it for the next brunch before I leave town. It was really busy. I'm glad they seem to be getting good business. I hope I get a chance to go to Green this trip because I want me some crab puffs.

I always get the brunch special on Sundays, and it's always tasty and unique! Unfortunately their baked goods are hit or miss. Donuts are consistently bad. Of course the soynamis are phenomenal! I heard on FB they are coming out w a new menu at Green, exciting!

Bummer about the donuts. I was going to get one, but they were out. I guess I lucked out!

In my opinion.... I liked the donuts. I got a barbarian creme one and it was awesome. My coworkers liked the fritters. I know veg-in-training got a cinnamon roll for her honey and he enjoyed it. I haven't had a donut in years, though, and never a vegan one. I'm not happy with the brunch. I want to love it because I love green (and the crab wontons!) and want to support nami but the brunch is sub-par and never hot enough. Pomegranate cafe has a better brunch. If they have the white chocolate wonderful cake, kimba, go for it- it is outstanding. Also, the pb cupcakes were awesome. Also the hostess-looking cupcake is good. Oh, and the cake pops they made around thanksgiving were good. And obviously the tsoynamis. Adam Crisis and I are eating our way through the tsoynami menu, slowly. Don't waste your time with the oatmeal creme pies! It's more icing than creme.

I have not had the brunch, only the soynamis and they are so good. What I usually do is go to Green for lunch and then go next door for a soynami for dessert - this is the central Phoenix location. Haven't been for a while, now that I think of it. I think I get a different thing at Green every time and so far like everything. My omni daughter loves both places too. She usually likes any sort of fake chicken noodle bowl.

The bowls are my favourite, and my favourite bowl is the kung pao fake chicken w/brown rice.
And I also like eating tsoynamis with Adam or joshua or VIT. VIT said Green came out with some new menu items as of the first of this year.

I found the mac n cheese to be yummy. It wasn't super fancy - it was on the kids menu! But it was an adult sized portiin for sure.

The brunch special this weekend is fried eggs! Check out their facebook page, they look crazy realistic and delicious. I might have to check it out.

Not that I have ever really wanted friend eggs, but it sounds like it might be interesting.

Meggs wrote: Was it delicious? I had the mac and cheese. It was very creamy and if you are a fan of mac an cheese I think you'll like it. To me, it needed something more...maybe broccoli? I was disappointed in the Wendy's Pickle Sandwich. It was very dry and kind of boring. The concept is yummy though. The BBQ Bacon Burger was delicious!

Damn, it sounds like a whole new menu, not just a few new things! V-I-T, do they still have the delicious bowls and appetizers we like? (They don't have the new menu up on the website yet.)
Abelskeiver, did you make it over for brunch yesterday? How were the fried eggs?

I had the drunken bowl (new one, a combo of two of the old ones) and it was really good. I also had the wings and I feel like they're even better than they used to be.

I didn't make it to brunch, sadly. Another one of my friends just moved to phx so looks like I'll have ample opportunity to visit though.

Abelskeiver, did you make it over for brunch yesterday? How were the fried eggs? They still have a lot of the original menu items. I wanted to love the brunch, but meh.

Hiking and dining sounds divine- what's your schedule like? Weekday dinner or a weekend meal? I've gotten 5 omni coworkers to go to Green and Nami and they loved it. I think that speaks highly of it. I'm craving the wings something fierce today.
