Have you tried finger puppets? Everyone needs finger puppets!

I've started and finished two sweaters already this year, and just finished a third, that's been languishing on needles for three years!

i LOVE these, but i don't think i could make them yet (still having trouble crocheting a straight line)

they have a knit version, too, but i think the crochet version is a lot nicer looking. the purl bee has lots of small, cute projects that might be fun.

Esme, those are great! They'd be such a good housewarming gift!
Kittee, those sweaters are so gorgeous. I love the stripes and the detail on the blue sweater.

for IJDI: I am in love with these scrubbies, for a quick crochet. Mama Kim gets them from her mom and they work so well. They're made out of craft toile!

ooh, those are great! I would love to give someone cotton washcloths and scrubbies as a gift. perfect!

This weekend I ended up taking my stack of granny squares that I thought I'd never get to and sewing them together and weaving in all the ends. Now I have a mini blanket, but since it came out looking better than expected, I want to actually finish it!

These are awesome! I have a bunch of nylon netting from citrus bags. Do you think that would work if I cut it into strips?

Yes! I put them in the brown sweater, too. They're not part of the pattern, I just added a large one row buttonhole where I wanted the hole on each sleeve.

And yes, I think that meshy stuff would work, if you could get the strands long enough.

Phoenix, I made a white totoro, too from this pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... -amigurumi
I ran out of yarn for it's bottom, so I made him sitting on a leaf!

Whee! ijdi, that's so cute!

I've made 2 tiny white Totoros by now, thinking I might give the second one to a friend... But they look so lovely together on my new bookshelf that I haven't managed to separate them yet. Guess I'll have to make a third one if I want to give one away... ;)

My derby trainer gave me a knitting book with patterns for knitting derby-related stuff, like mitellas and jammer-hats etc.

Are any of you needle artists members of ravelry? I found a vegan knitters group there: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/vegan-kni ... crocheters
It needs to be more active. Maybe if a few of us show up we could get things fired up again?
