With only 8 more days to go, I'm growing a little weary. I am looking forward to a chile/chili free day or two. Please send me your motivating thoughts and humor to keep me going. I've posted every day so far and I really want to cross that 30 post finish line.

Yes definitely. I really want to reach the every day goal. The first half of the month went pretty smoothly. I didn't even have to struggle with it much. And almost every post was in before midnight on the proper day, and it was great. Then I got sick and everything went downhill. But I'd gone halfway already, I couldn't just let it dwindle off. I feel that this past week or so has been filled with boring posts that nobody really cares about.

I think people are also getting burned out on reading all of the blogs. There are just too many awesome ones. I know the comments on mine have really dwindled. I'm sure many of our retinas are getting fried from so much awesome blogging.

the hard part for me now is I can only think about Thanksgiving and I can only do so many planning posts, even though I could do a different one every day since my plan changes every day.
It does seem like the numbers considerably thinned last week, now it is the home stretch!
And I don't think you have to stick to your theme for every single post (I haven't) so if you want to have a day w/o chiles I think it would be fine.

Last year I had major burnout during Pumpkin Week. I think it was some of my funniest writing.
Just start. Once you start, it really is fun.

I was feeling really awesome for the first two and a half weeks...but I've only posted once since last Thursday :( I think it's been a combination of unrealistic goals/themes, too much money spent on ingredients, and apprx. 20hrs of overtime at work. I'll definitely finish out the week though!
This was my first MoFo, and I'm very new to blogging, but I think everyone's excitment and participation helped me blog as much as I did. Next year I'll plan things a little better and choose a more budget-friendly theme!

Next year, I am going to really plan better and do a lot of posts in advance. I'm going to start planning in August, I think. My job is killing me right now, and I had tofu and broccoli about 4 times last week. One night I just had toast. No one wants to read about that. At least I did two posts over the weekend, and I posted more than last year.
You've come so far, though. You can do it! There's barely a week left!

I'm pretty burnt out, but I'll keep going. I still have to write an ode to the SF burrito and another one to kimchi. I haven't been able to comment as much as I'd like to, so I feel a little bad about that.

A little burned out. I didn't post on weekends and I'm glad I didn't. I feel more fresh for the week that way. Including giveaways was a good way to fill in too.
Sadly my hand has been pretty sore from typing.
I also have burnout from reading all the blogs. I wish there was a better way to weed through them.

I am most definitely getting mofo reader burnout. My google reader is up to 300 something! And I'm not even subscribed to the entire MoFo feed, so I can't imagine how some other people are keeping up!

I didn't do weekends and that's been a lifesaver. Otherwise, I'm going strong on writing (some posts are very brief) but sucking at reading. Badly.

Hell yes. I think I like it better in October because the Thanksgiving thing on top of MoFo is killing me. Also, I can barely even keep up with my google reader. I've barely touched the blogroll, so a lot of people will be getting random comments from me for months to come.

I haven't even had time to figure out the reader as I don't usually use one except for MoFo.

I've been going strong for three weeks now, but I've been really sick for the past week and a half, and tonight I don't even want to move. I forgot to take a sad little picture of or write a sad little paragraph about the tempeh stir-fry I just threw together, and I am out of ideas!

The thing that's killing me is reading others and commenting. I tried really hard to do the 5 a day thing and I'm even keeping a spreadsheet of comments so I can return to see if there are replies. But I have found a lot of fun new blogs.
But I know I won't mind comments on old posts, and I'd be surprised if anyone did. Better late than never!

To the Death! I am going to finish. I stopped adding new blogs to my reader and am just keeping up with the many I already added. It ought to be fun and I am not going to stress out because I am not reading everyone's blog. I have no Thanksgiving plans but have a long show coming up so I haven't been commenting as much as I was but I am still enjoying it.

I took a few days off for work stuff and because I'm sick, but I've got a lot of drafts working. I wanted to post everyday, but oh well.
