I just want to say... I love the rat tail. But mostly that color is making me jealous.

Your hair is mermaid coloured! Sweeet. I just chopped all my hair off. -> I've had long hair almost all my life and I think I'm never going back. Last week it was at my shoulders and I keep taking more off. It's just so thrilling!

Truth.
I am constantly crippled by hair indecisions, this thread is perfect! I got about 10 inches chopped off last week, also got a bit of layering going on now. I think I want more layering actually. I'm also indecisive about my bangs. I was contemplating the baby bangs like Bathseba has. And colour... gah! I've been growing my natural colour about because I was to damn busy to dye it. The last couple of years I've only used henna and indigo, no chemical dyes. And using them to get black hair usually takes up the most part of a day. But I miss my darker hair. And I'm reluctant to go back to chemical dyeing.

No photos, but mine is kind of semi-curly and purple right now. My hair is the kind of hair that will never be 'nice' it always looks like I've stuck my hand into wall socket or something. Anyway I think I'm going to stick with the purple for a while a least. It's the only colour that seems to suit me.

Oh yay! I need to get a haircut soon. I want a bit of a side-swept fringe-y thing (bangs, but not) and to wear it curly most of the time. I'm also going to red-henna my hair! Oh yeah! I'm not really the most creative with my hair. I've come to terms with the fact that I prefer 'pretty, soft' hair over 'cool and edgy'. However, I have been thinking of cutting it lately, I've also had long hair forever, I don't think I'm ready to give that up yet, dying it to red is already a pretty big step for me. Here's some photos of what I'm thinking

Anyone else have that problem where you can't help sticking your hair behind your ears and it makes it look all goofy?

Currently part of a hair pact-not-to-cut until I see my bestie again (homegirl moved to Antarctica). I needed to cut it the last day I saw her, and now... wuf - long and scraggly. But I like telling people my friend moved to Antarctica!

I go through cycles where I grow my hair out and then chop it all off. I had it really short over the summer, but now it's just about down to my chin with sort-of-bangs. I might just keep it like this for a while, although I don't know where to get a reasonably priced haircut around here so it might just keep growing. super short: now not quite so short:

Everyone's hair is so stylin'!
I have an anti-hair color question. I've been letting it go gray and I love it. HOWEVER! I'm wondering if it will harm my chances of getting a new job, should I end up in that situation. A while ago my boss made a comment in front of me to a co-worker: "Do you like my temporary color? Now I look human!" It's been about a year and all the color still isn't out. I'd hate to undo all the waiting with a bottle of color. But I know how important it is to fit an image when you're job hunting.

What I said I wanted today at the hairdresser: 1. A little below the chin 2. Not MANY layers, but enough so that there's a little shape at the bottom. I still want to be able to pull it back 3. Bangs long enough that I can push them to the side/pin them back. What I got: I think maybe it's ok?

It is very cute! Not at all what you wanted but cute! I just got mine cut and I don't like it. It's not me....it's one of my best friends hair cut and a friend cut it so I have to be careful what I say about it.

This was from when I dyed my hair purple and turquoise. I only have pictures from this crazy project my friend took pictures of me for. O.o So please, ignore the sparkly things on my face and the lens flare. Lolz. xD That puppy, while cute, is incredibly creepy. I swear it stared into my soul. o.o
