I'm in the middle of season two and, despite the terrible writing for Jax, I'm hooked. But seriously - what the f is gong on with all the mouth kissing? Is it just me that finds it awkward?

YOU GUYS!!! The premiere!!! It was so good, I think I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

The ending was just...wow. So now the fallout from the shooting is going to lead to Nero's cousin to Nero to SAMCRO. I was reading on the internet about the mixed reactions...what do PPKers think?

I'm so glad Gemma wasn't the one who turned in Tara, I was really worried about the fallout from that.

Poor, poor Otto. That guy is so tragic.

I just finished watching it and my head is still spinning, I need to organize my thoughts better.

Am I really the only PPKer that's into Sons of Anarchy?!

I like it, but I don't have cable! I am still waiting for season 5 to go to instant Netflix!

Seriously! I totally didn't get how the kid was related to any part of the story until just now. Everything about that episode was wild. I feel so bad for Otto. And the creepy porn studio and that gross drowning scene. Yikes.

That porn studio was SO disturbing! I had to Google who the kid was.

1. I've hated Tara since season 1 and now I hate her even more! She was never cut out to be an "old lady" and deal with the MC, and now she is going to totally mess up Jax's family and take his kids away. Ugh. Even more importantly, Gemma's grandbabies!

2. Why would Tara need a pregnancy test? She's a doctor! Does she not know how babies are made and how to prevent that from happening?!

3. Argh that U.S. Marshall signing Clay's name! The look on Clay's face when he realizes what happened is pretty funny though.

4. Poor Juicy. He's one of my faves. I'm really worried he is going to have a meltdown and commit suicide. :(

Yeah so is Tara planning to break up with Jax? I couldn't really figure out that story line and I don't remember the state of their relationship from last season. Didn't Tara say it would be over if he cheated on her again? I'm curious if she'll follow through.

It looks to me like Jax is becoming a lot like Clay with the cheating, lying, and murdering. I always feel so bad for Nero. Like, he's not a good guy but the MC is just such a train wreck and he is getting in deep.

I have that sympathy for Nero, too! I mean, he definitely does bad stuff on his own, but the MC stuff is definitely worse and he's in so deep now that if they went down, so would he.

It seems like Tara is intending to file for divorce and make Wendy the boys' guardian? She said Oregon pulled their offer (not surprised, I would too if you were arrested for conspiracy to commit murder) so I'm not sure where she is planning on going?

So I googled the Tara thing and found this helpful (spoiler tagging it because it's kind of long):

Spoiler: show
After the break, we go back to the house where Tara is having a conversation with Lowen. Come to find out, what Tara was really looking for in her office was documentation regarding her injuries to her hand.

Now, we start to get a better look at what her intentions really are. She is working with Lowen to try to ensure that should she go back to prison for her part in Pamela Toric’s murder that Jax is stripped of guardianship of the boys. They are trying to prove that by his association to the club, and a proven “culture of violence” that Jax is not a viable guardian for his sons. I think I should stress his sons.

Lowen ensures Tara that this is not about criminality, and that anything she outlined in those notepads would not implicate her or Jax in any crimes.

Lowen mentions that they will still have to contend with Gemma, and that Grandmothers pushing for custody make a compelling case, and Tara cuts her off rather quickly.

“That’s not gonna happen.” She said quickly.
Here is where we find out what is really going on. Lowen tells Tara that she will wait until right before the trial to file for the divorce. Wait…what? Even knowing everything that has transpired between her and Jax, I am still kind of shocked by this. Jax is not the perfect man by any means, but I do feel like he is trying to do what he feels is best for his family. At the same time, Tara has not exactly been the most supportive of wives to Jax. Even being a woman, I can’t help but feel like the brunt of this falls in her lap.

Hmm ok that clarifies things a bit. Thanks!

Does it seem that Tara hasn't been supportive? I feel like she has, like she waited for Jax to get out of prison and took on the role of being an MC wife and jeopardized her career to help the club. It seems like they had a deal to get out of town and have a new life but Jax went back on his word, using Opie as an excuse to stick around.

Yeah, I think Tara was fairly supportive up until the point where Jax didn't want to leave town. That being said, I still can't stand her! Mostly because I didn't like another character that that actress played in another series. But I do like her new haircut, it looks good on her!

Haha! I have totally hated characters before because of previous roles the actors played.

For some reason I really don't like Wendy even though she is the only one with her shiitake together right now.

I don't mind Wendy, but I think I'm the only person who adored Adriana on the Sopranos. I felt so bad for Wendy when Jax injected her with those drugs!

What is Wendy playing at?! Is she just trying to get in good with Gemma or is she working with the Marshall trying to get some intel on these guns? I don't think Wendy would work with the cops, but I don't know, if he promised to get her her son or something maybe she would. Or is she working with Tara to help get evidence on why Jax and Gemma would be unfit to care for the boys? Now that I just typed that out, that seems the more likely explanation.

And Gemma knits! I love her even more.

Haha I read your post before watching the show so I was on Knitting Watch the whole episode. I thought Wendy must be working with Tara, but who know!

I had to hide in the other room during that beer bottle scene. Ugh to the ugh!

WOW. I think that was one of my favourite episodes to date. So much drama!

I'm so, so, so happy that Otto is finally released from his awful life, and the fact that he took out the marshall only makes it extra satisfying. Clay is surprising me, I totally thought he would end up ratting.

I think the rest of the MC is going to start a coup to get rid of Jax. Maybe Bobby starting up his own chapter will have something to do with it. Like maybe they will all leave and join Bobby's chapter or Bobby and his new crew will come to Charming.

okay so this thread has pretty much turned into me talking to myself - but ah, that last episode! What the heck was with the prison guards re: Gemma and Clay?!

I wonder what they are going to do now that they don't have a club house. And how are things going with Bobby? I feel like he is going to come back with the people he's rounded up in Reno and challenge Jax for the club. Nobody likes the way Jax is running things anyway. I think Bobby would be a good president.

He def looks hawt in that photo, like Calvin Klein model-esque but I prefer the scruffy face and greasy hair.

I agree. He obviously looks "good" all clean-up but it doesn't do anything for me. Also, he only looks like my boyfriend when he's scruffy-looking...

I actually asked my boyfriend if he agrees that they look alike. I took his "if I lost 30 pounds and grew muscle..." which I took as a yes.

Finally caught up. That episode was a little crazy! what the fizzle with the jumping off motorcycles into cars?! Love that Bobby is back and that they all love each other again. I'm so nervous for Tara and how everything will go down with the divorce filing, etc...
