Weren't people saying earlier that there were rumors that Michael C was a creep and kept talking about all the girls he had slept with? That seems like quite a stretch after meeting his boyfriend (and not to mention the fact that he always strikes me as sort of shy!).
I want Mondo to win but only because I like the other designers even less this year. Although I actually did like Gretchen's romper, which I was sort of shocked about.

I was actually so sad to see Michael go! He grew on me more than any other designer, ever. His family situation seems very sad. I hope he his able to be himself. I liked Gretchen's 3 showings the least out of them all. I reallyreally didn't like that one outfit with the handbag and necklace..it looked like bad '80s with no new twist. I loved Andy's story and childhood home. I enjoyed his pieces ok. I really think Mondo will win!

Am I the only one not at all sympathetic to Gretchen's repeated "I'm so poor!"?

i haaaaaaaaaate gretchen's clothes. i am kind of baffled that this woman is in the top 3 of project runway.
now i'm really sad that april was eliminated -- her line would have been so much more interesting!

i also can't believe that nina garcia is like 7 months pregnant. although i guess if anyone knows how to dress to minimize a baby bump, it's her.

I can't imagine Nina with a softer side.. I guess I was kinda sympathetic of Gretchen's sitch. As much as I could be, from the story we heard.

So, we're in Palm Springs and are trying to find Michael C's shop, but aren't succeeding. Any of you internet geniuses want to help us find it? We'll post pics!

I didn't like Gretchen's line at all but I couldn't watch Michael sob. It seemed way over the top. I hope Mondo wins.

Mondo, Mondo, Mondo!! I think, obviously, the judges have no clue that old time-y circuses were part of his inspiration. He better win. I already saw the spoiler collections from fashion week, his was definitely the best, by far.

I still can't get over her winning week one - did anyone else think her dress was incredibly boring? And I hated that half back - it just looked unfinished. I thought the jumpsuit thing week 2 was ok but there were so many things I thought were better. And the 2 wins turned her into such a bisque! Sorry to rehash - I didn't get to vent this on the old thread!

Fingers crossed that Mondo wins!
I never thought it would happen, but I feel kind of bad for Michael C. and the situation with this family. Did anyone else notice the moment when he was talking to the judges and said, "And there's some great pieces in my collection," and then proceeded to stand with the most awkward smile ever?
Tim was so cute in this episode too!

I am a monster. When Michael C was pulling those ridiculous faces I was laughing. I felt so mean. But they looked so ridiculous.
I ended up crying though after he said how he was worried that his family would disown him. That was pretty sad.
But those faces...goodness me.

It was gut wrenching to see Michael cry at the end. I hope his family saw and changed their opinion about him in some way - even being supportive.
Ohh Mondo - please let me have your dia de los muertos clown bag! I loved his clothes, his inspiration, his house...

michael c turned into a 6 year old boy !!! but i understand his situation and i feel badly for him. imagine how devastating it would be to go that far and not make it to fashion week. but really, who are we kidding? we knew all along he wasn't going to fashion week.
felt super weird watching him cry so much.
i liked gretchen's looks except taht ugly green leather one. i wouldn't wear any of hte stuff myself but i thought they looked good on the models. mondo, obviously, is going to win

They did all go to fashion week though. The top 7 or so? I guess he's just upset because he wouldn't win the prize/it wouldn't be shown on TV.

I love Tim! Did you guys see the rant on his facebook? I mean, he was a teacher, so he has that kind of a perspective and seems to genuinely care about the designers as well as the integrity of the show (I think he's one of the biggest parts of what makes this show so great, rather than any other reality/competition show). This is the first link I found that includes the video on the page http://starcasm.net/archives/65987

semiautomatic wrote: yeah i meant he wouldn't be showing at fashion week But they do show at fashion week, they show a decoy collection. Michael C had already received the same budget as the final 3 so he got to make a proper collection that he could show to a packed tent. I hope he had fun. Here's a video of his collection doing the final walk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiyNlPAaSME Quote: Every season on Project Runway there are decoy collections that show at Bryant Park so that results of the remaining shows will not be spoiled by revealing the final three. http://projectrunway.blog.seenon.com/20 ... he-decoys/That's an old post but Tom & Lorenzo have all the decoy collections from this season. I was really sad when Tim Gunn deleted all of his facebook rants. They were like the cherry on top of the cake. Now the cake is cherryless. Edit: Oh I see he kept some of them up, just not the ones where he went overboard on calling the judges crack smokers.
