Yeah, I'm gonna do it! I think I'm going to keep the bob long-ish instead of the chin length one I had before. Whee! New hair!

I haven't cut my hair in 5 months, but I feel like it's not getting any longer. :-(

thanks for the heads up, cute hair!

i went and found a new salon last week because i was desperate.
i can't decide if i look cutting edge or if it's an old man haircut. the woman totally ignored the texture of my aging-changing-used-to-be-straight-but-now-is-curling-in-weird-places hair and what looked OK when she did it now is all lumpy and frankenstein head. i need to go buy some gel or something today. so salon problem: still not resolved

Oh my hair used to frizz up bad at any humidity. Your hair could turn like mine, when I turned 30, I got straight hair with minor frizz in high humidity. Still not sure what happened there.

Ugh, my (super busy and in school and is working, so I understand) stylist friend was supposed to come give me that amazing bob today and pushed me back til Friday instead. But my bangs...they're taking over my face...how am I supposed to resist cutting them myself for 3 more days??

Can you pin them back for the next 3 days and just pretend they don't exist?

I chopped it all off last night. I think my head might be too big for short hair? But it's there now, so fork it.

Aaaand, I'm ready to have my hair back. I always get adventurous/bored and chop it off and get tired of it immediately.

i stopped at a salon yesterday and asked if the woman could do anything to fix up my terrible haircut. [it had been sleek and professional and now it's "modern" and "perky" and i HATE it.] she felt my hair, tut-tutted and asked why do people insist on using razors to cut the wrong kind of hair, and gave me the Brazilian equivalent of "oh, honey...." I'm SOL until it grows out. waaah.

Sorry, Torque...that sucks.

Creep, it is super cute!

So I have not gotten my hair cut in a year. I am going to a new place Friday and have no idea what I want other than to still have enough for a ponytail. What would PPK do with this hair? Here it is after a day of being in a bun. And I can't figure out how to turn it right side up.

Just realized that I never posted a photo of my haircut.

Image

I don't love it. She didn't thin it enough, so it's poofier than I like (it's second day dirty here, so it looks a tiny bit flatter). She also angled it too much and it's too short in the back. She's cutting it again at the end of next week. Good thing my stylist is my friend and is willing to put up with my incredibly needy and hard to cut hair.

Fizzgig, I have ALWAYS wanted lovely curly hair like yours. So jealous.

I love the angle! I hope it turns out the way you want it.

I got long layers. She straightened it for me just so I could see if it would look nice straightened. I like it so far. We will see how I like it curly.

Also, I cannot for the life of me get my pictures right side up.

Fizzgig, are you posting on your phone? I've noticed mine seem upside down on my phone, but right side up on a laptop/desktop.

also, your hair looks lovely!

And AP, I really love how it looks. But I'm a fan of voluminous (poofy) hair.
