Put my degrees in some cheap frames... can't afford real framing right now.
Did some laundry which included yoga clothing in case I want to go to yoga Sunday.
Looked at the internet.
Drank a lot of Perrier, which is my new obsession.
Whee! Wild & crazy!

Tomorrow night I am going to a Pampered Chef party at a friend's house, so at least my whole weekend isn't entirely lame.

I should frame my degree someday. It was actually lost for about 2 years, and then I found it packed in a totally unexpected box.

I got a new sewing machine today, so I "forgot" that I was supposed to go to the pub and I'm sewing things instead. I cut up some ugly fleece jackets and a pair of jeans that looked terrible on me and made my dogs a whole pile of new squeaky and snuggly toys. And I made a pretty dish towel because this machine has fancy stitches.

I tore my calf muscle (it went "snap!"), so now I am unable to stand...so I am sitting on the sofa with my leg elevated and compressed and icing and taking ibuprofen and bossing my husband around to make me some decaf. At least I finally watched "Lincoln," and the pets are all keeping me company.

I'm super lonely tonight! I wish I had a friend who wanted to stay up late with me on Friday nights while I'm all doped up on pain killers watching Girls Next Door and eating soup.

i told a friend of mine who works there too and she was like, "yeah! that place is super creepy!" so the ghost feeling was probably legitimate? right? i mean, if we could just ignore things like biology and physics for a while, it makes total sense.

I'm curling up with a warm blanket and a good book about computer viruses. Either I will get so sucked into it that I'll stay up all night reading, or I'll be asleep in 20 minutes. WIN WIN.

I watched My Neighbor Totoro while drinking wine and internetting. I'm finishing my one whole glass of wine for the evening and then going to bed by 11. YESSSSSSS.

I stayed up til midnight last night. My wild'n'crazy activity? Getting sucked into a blog written by a young woman who fled the fundie/patriarchal/quiverfull movement on the eve of her engagement. Good times. Now it's barely 6 and sunny in my room and I haven't had enough sleep, but hey, at least my Friday was wiiiiiild.

Eating food and baking cookies and then eating a lot of them. Tooling around the internets (tumblr, and a few others places that I don't even remember)

It's Friday night and I am am going to stay in my air conditioned bedroom forever and ever, because it is too forking hot outside. Woo. I'm supposed to bake cupcakes tonight, but I think turning the oven on might actually cause the entire house to melt.

Sigh, I can't believe it was a whole week ago I was having tacos in Food Fight and milling about with other Vida Vegan Conners in front of the vegan mini-mall! Tonight it's gonna be teese nachos and some Hulu. At least I get to do both with Pepper!

I should be packing on this wild and crazy Friday night. And yet I'm sitting here seriously contemplating canceling my move.

I got my wisdom teeth out this afternoon so my wild 'n crazy friday night consists of sitting on the couch alone, eating lukewarm mashed potatoes and listening to the Mountain Goats. Shortly to replace with ice cream and more Buffy, as I was marathoning episodes all afternoon. The good news is that I'm not having any adverse reactions to the pain meds and they're helping a lot. The bad is that I am le boooored.

But it's so hot out!
Also, you're gonna be really jealous of next Friday's wildness and craziness--I'm going to see the Mountain Goats and it is going to the The Best Thing Ever.
