I am a forever lurker who was active on this board a few years ago, so why don't I take this opportunity to awkwardly jump in as everyone is discussing drawers.

Patagonia makes the best underwear that I own. I've a couple of the same pairs since 2006 and they are still going strong and look cute. They are substantial enough that I have used them as a bathing suit in the past. Also, if they get jacked up, there is a lifetime guarantee and patagonia will get you a new pair.

What, wait so you will never have to pay for more underpants again, ever??

I have had the best luck with Gap underoos, love the hipster and boy shorts, but my behind is rather small so I don't have much difficulty finding good fits as long as the quality is decent.

Elita brand, by a mile. I would say they are mid-priced, but CANNOT be beat for durability. They may be a Canadian brand, dunno. I have a pair of lace-trimmed boyshorts made out of soy fiber and somrthing else, probably cotton, that I have had for YEARS. That sounds gross, but I only wear them for "special occasions". I have had daily-use pieces by the sane brand, too, though-just awesome. I see they are doing bamboo and other natural fibers now, think that would be comparable to the soy I so love. For rear coverage, definitely a boy cut or hipster from this brand.

I get microfiber undies from Lane Bryant that are seamless and full coverage, but they make bikini's too. They come in clothing sizes, so like 14-28 or whatever sizes LB is carrying these days. I like them, they stay put and don't give me any VPL.

Does anyone else have a problem with the gusset being too low down?

I'm desperate to find some undercrackers with a gusset that comes up high enough at the front and the fact that none do is making me feel like my body is not normal!

Undercrackers...hahahaha, love that term. Gusset? Is that the part you'd stick a pad on? I learn something new every day.

Yes, the bit of double thickness material between the legs. Now you've got me wondering if gusset is the correct term!

I'm pretty sure it is, and I TOTALLY have the same problem!

Me three. The front of it is down too low, which means the back of it goes too high up on my bum and you can see the seam. If the whole damn thing was shifted and inch and a half forward, the extra fabric would be in the right place and I'd have no visible seam. Grrr...

Exactly! Glad it's not just me but sad you haven't discovered a brand to solve the problem either. Maybe someone will post soon to tell us some good news!
