I tried to do this social media alert, but now it just tells me whenever any vegan is talking about being lazy, which is pretty funny.

Nobody. I'm not cool enough to be talked about.

I'm really :D about people actually finding my blog through googling "speculoos pie crust"...!

I got a shout out from The Vegan Police on their facebook page.

I've gotten a couple of re-tweets from some restaurants that I've reviewed (HuHot, zpizza, SteMartaen), but that's about it. I recently changed my URL, so I think I lost some followers. I should step up my game!

I have a bunch of hits that came from twitter, but I don't understand twitter, and couldn't find the links.

However, I get about 10 hits a day from people looking for "Buffy Legs"
I mean, I know I talk about buffy sometimes, and I'm sure i've used the word "legs" but really? I'm one of the more relevant blogs for that topic? I think not.

One of my top hits is always people looking for scratch and sniff porn. I always take a few moments to image what scents would populate scratch and sniff porn.

Last year, someone searching for "eating pizza part 2" landed on my 2-part series on making pizza was actually looking for a porn site where women purposefully eat to get chubby. I saw the video they were looking for, it was disturbing.

How do see who has looked at your blog?? I want to know who is reading mine

My stupid google stat thing is down so I don't know who has been talking about mine. Probably better off that way, I might obsess over it.

You can get a sitemeter too. I only look for the numbers, not really where they came from usually. sitemeter.com

I really like google analytics.

I saw a few restaurants around posted my reviews, vegan backpacker posted a link to all of them on their travel round up, but I think the majority was via twitter which was fun.

I liked following the #veganmofo hashtag. :)

I recently signed up for statcounter but I don't really understand it. I do know how to see how people got to my blog(mostly from ppk!) and I doubt anyone has ever linked to anything Ive posted since my blog is still a baby but in the future it would be awesome to know. Also, how do other people know that I've linked to them?

There is still so much I don't understand about blogging!

yeah I have blog stats or something. It details where people are coming from with hits, but it doesn't directly source or inform me of people linking to a post/the blog.

I'd have to click on each individual ip address to see where they were sources from/how they got to the blog.

I was amazed at all the love bestowed upon my old school sage and onion bread stuffing. (Seriously, it made me a little verklempt!)

I get a lot of hits and some great comments, but I don't think anyone is "talking" about my blog. :( Oh well, I enjoy what I do... it's fun!
