Oooo, how does one (i.e. me) get their mitts on such a thing?

P.S. The MoFo panel was. so. good.

Yay! I am SO happy you liked the MoFo panel! Come introduce yourself!

The cookbooklettes are on a table over on the left hand side of the exhibitor hall (by the experts table). They're just sitting there next to a little jar for donations. Spread the word, I don't think anyone knows about them, but I really want people to take them! I dont want to take them back home!! :)

If anyone can't make it out, I've been blogging notes and salient points from all the sessions I've been able to attend. It's not a complete write-up of the Convention, but it might be good reading for anyone who is thirsty for the sweet, sweet knowledge doled out at VVC!

That's awesome, Erika! I was really interested in the vegans of colour panel and the MoFo workshop, and it sounds like both were amazing!

Awww man, my Instagram and Facebook made me jealous all weekend! If I wasn't so hard up for money I would've been there for sure. I hear next year is in Chicago which would be more financially doable, flight-wise. It looks like so much fun!

I thought next time would be in Chicago, too, but it seems like it's not set in stone... Jess, Janessa, and Michelle are soliciting suggestions for locations for the next VVC! I would suggest San Francisco but frankly I don't think we're up to the task :/ Plus it's the Midwest/East Coast's turn!

Austin seems rad! But you know, I'm planning on flying halfway across the planet so an extra couple of hours on a plane to get wherever doesn't really bother me.

Oh, if they did it in Austin I'd have an excuse to go back. (I am looking for any excuse to go back to Austin.)

oh man, i totally thought it was slated for august 2014 in chicago... keeping my fingers crossed! no air fare and a closer location means i'd have zero excuse not to make it next time. austin is always an excellent choice in my book, though. ;)

I'm hoping it is so I can go AND do my annual family visit.

Erika, I didn't realize you were being such a good blogger this whole time! Nice job!

VVC was so well-coordinated and informative and fun, and of course it was great to actually meet in person people I've been online buddies with. Thanks to the superb organizers and speakers!

Also, hi PPK. I'm back?

Thank you! Also- I am the biggest doofus in the world. I'd been hanging out with you the whole time and not realizing I knew you from the PPK. Like, until just now. We even talked about East Falls! I'm sorry, I'm a moron! It was so wonderful to finally get to meet you! More exclamation marks!!!!!

VVC was tons of fun but I did a bad job of meeting ppkers! That was dumb! I'm super glad that I made it through the I-5 bridge detour route late last night when there wasn't much traffic.

It was lovely to sleep in this morning. And lovely to get to see so many good people this weekend. I really hope some of the discussions that started in the panels can continue both here and in the blog world. I got lucky to assist in a lot of really great panels and there was a lot of good stuff being brought up.

Haha. I haven't been on the PPK for many months, so I don't really expect anyone to remember me here!

(And now I've just spent two hours ppking instead of being productive!)
