Also, the Pixiwoo girls rave about the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencils. I've not tried them because I'm not sure where to get them over here but I just googled it and can't see anything non-vegan in the ingredients.

I use black Barry M dazzle dust with an angle brush and saliva. Gross, perhaps, but effective.

I'm stuck for a good black felt tip eyeliner. I've tried ELF and Barry M and the Gosh/MUA ones don't appeal (I'm picky about the tip). Any recommendations?

And for the color, it should be one shade darker than your natural brow, right? I was using Physician's Formula pencil for a while but only Ulta carried it and I've since relocated. I thought Tarte or Smashbox had something in their brow collection that was vegan, too?

I like the Anastasia one. I actually get it a shade lighter than my brows, but my brows are black and a too dark pencil looks crazy on me. I think if you have lighter brows a shade darker is good.

Unless your brows are so fair you can't see them and you're wanting to darken them up, then no I would get one that matches.

Not sure if Smashbox have something vegan but just so you know, they are owned by Estee Lauder (so now animal test). Tarte I believe are vegan friendly but we don't get it over here so I have no idea what's in their range.

My brows got mangled the last time i had them threaded, so they are in an awkward growing out stage. so i have to use both Diorshow pencil

http://m.sephora.com/diorshow-brow-styl ... il-P238433

To draw in the empty areas and then go over everything with billion dollar brows brow powder

http://www.billiondollarbrows.com/produ ... row-powder

to set it and make it look a bit fuller. The powder over the pencil makes a huge difference but of course it's fiddly and time consuming. Anastasia pencil is also very good. It's a little softer than Diorshow so it's not as precise, but it is not that big of a difference.

Ahh no. I just had mine threaded on Saturday and I was super nervous because the last I went the woman did a really shiitake job. So I went somewhere else (somewhere much cheaper btw) and she did an a lovely job. Hopefully you can find someone who can do a better job if you decide to try again?

How do you like the billion dollar brows powder? I was hoping they'll be at the next beauty show I go to.

I have gotten the best threading from cheaper places as well! Maybe the more expensive threaders think they need to do more shaping (mangling in my case) rather than just tidying up.

I like the billion dollar brows powder a lot. It really does make a big difference over just pencil. Their slant brush is not vegan though, but no big deal as I already had an ecotools slant brush that works fine. i tried the little brow measuring tool in the shop - it is silly and not worth 40.00. I am thinking about trying the brow gel when I run out of Anastasia.

I got the ELF brow kit for $3 and like it. I used to just use brown eyeshadow (the pros do that too I have seen online) and that works just as well. Just make sure it's fairly matte, unless you want shimmery brows.

Cool, I'll make sure I visit their stand then. I don't like those stencil either. I have some I got with a NYX brow kit and they're crepe.

I use Everyday Minerals loose brow powder and it is FANTASTIC. I apply it with a teeny angled brush.

I use the Anastasia Brow Wiz and I love it. It's such a nice thin pencil. I use it in brunette, and then sort of dash stipple in a bit of black pencil liner from elf because I color my hair black, and I get a nice natural look that isn't creepy weird solid black drawn on brows, but not too light either. I tried the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ebony but it had an ash/taupe undertone to it that I didn't like.

I keep meaning to try and find somewhere that sells the brow wiz over here and doesn't charge the earth for it.

Last night I decided to root around my pigmets for eye shadow and found OCC's Wasabi - it's soooo pretty (pic doesn't nearly do it enough justice).

And from my birthday night out on Saturday.... The Limecrime Velventines are AMAZING! (This was Red Velvet, but Suedeberry is also gorgeous)! It probably would've stayed on all night if I hadn't added a bit of gloss, but a completely matte lip is soooo dry that I don't find it all that comfortable to wear. I hope they make more colours of these soon.

You can get it on cultbeauty.co.uk

It's fairly expensive on there, but I think that that is just because it's expensive over here anyway, with them having to import it.

My favourite brushes in my kit are Real Techniques (you can buy in boots), Bdellium Bambu ranges and Crownbrush's syntho range. They're all vegan and I like all of them. Illamasqua's are vegan too but they are pricey and they don't have a massive range.

It depends how many you need / which brushes you need. Real Techiques do a few different sets or if you want to buy them individually, Bdellium and Crownbrush Syntho are very reasonable and I like them a lot. Plus Bdellium now do their bambu brushes in pink (or green if you prefer).

If you want specific recs for specific areas on the face, let me know.

I use the Arbonne brush set, it was $40 and it's vegan, really nice quality. I also have a travel brush set from Furless and am super happy with it.

Maybe see if you can order from a US department store like Nordstrom? I don't know how shipping would be, but hypothetically it might be cheaper even with shipping.

Probably not, I just ordered some stuff from iherb and the makeup etc was quite a bit cheaper but got stung with import taxes so it ended up not really being cheaper at all!

That sucks. At least you have easy access to Barry M, Gosh, and Models Own.

This is from Tuesday--my new lipgloss. I really love the color. Lousy photo, but it shows the color well enough.

Chanel Aqualumiere foundation in BR10 <-- I love this stuff; feels like nothing on!
Glossimer in Jalousie.
Other than that, just a little bit of one of the new shadow sticks in a black/charcoal. Even the SA said to avoid those because they are fiddly, but I like how it looked, even without eyeliner or mascara (I never wear that anyway).

Oh: she did a pressed powder of some sort too, but I didn't pay attention to that. Too fiddly for me!

Molly is wearing wet feathers. All the rage among the conure set this season.
