Yesterday: Deadlifts, leg press, leg extensions, calf press + 10 min ab work. + reps on deadlifts, leg extensions and calf press, + weight on leg press. Also my core is getting reeeeeal strong. Awesome workout.

Today: 30 km ride (at about 25-30 km/hour, it was really windy), 6 km run.

I did an hour of yoga, the last 20 minutes or so with 2 lb hand weights, which was surprisingly difficult. I signed up for a 5k/obstacle course thing that's in August, and after watching some videos of the obstacles, I'm realizing that I really need to work on my upper body strength if I'm not going to totally fail at it. I mean, it's mostly for fun, but I also don't want to be that person who can't finish the obstacles because my arms are too puny.

Team track workout, scaled back slightly because I'm tapering for my race on the 16th: 3x2 minute hill repeats, 3x400 at 5k pace w/2 minutes active recovery

C25K week 2, day 2, so 90 seconds of running alternated with 2 minutes of walking for 30 minutes. Felt good!

Just a little 5km around the neighbourhood, but my husband joined me tonight! He's really not a runner but has expressed interest in running with me on shorter runs/trails now and again. It was nice to have him join me.

Glute bridges and Turkish get-ups then competition training - 3 minutes on each arm of jerks and snatches, then a circuit of squat thrusts, swings and bent over rows.
