Is anyone else entering? The big prize is 1 million bucks. I don't know if the contest is worldwide or just USA??

A surpising number of their products are vegan (apple turnovers, crescent rolls, pizza dough, pie crust...). I haven't checked all of the products yet. The biscuits I checked so far are ALMOST vegan. The only thing in it is whey, and it's in a smaller amount than salt. Why do they do that anyway? In that quantity it certainly can't be doing anything worthwhile for the product. But that's another question altogether...

So anyway, I'm going to enter a bunch of times. I'm going to do a few entries that use vegan "subs" ie Field Roast or whatever, and some that just happen to not have animal products (ie lots of roasted veggies or whatever).

From looking at past winners, there really isn't anything all that new or inventive that takes the prize.

I'm going to give it a go. Let's hope some of you do, too. Let's have a vegan winner this year!

That sounds like fun! It would be awesome to have a vegan winner. I'm sure the winning recipe will reach a lot of people.
It is also good news that some Pillsbury products are vegan. I used to love making cheese and ham rollups with the crescent rolls when i was a kid, and i'm sure they'd be awesome veganized.
