Well, more so that he doesn't believe they work long term. I'm pretty sure that's what all these guys who keep telling me that mean. He has a friend couple that he considers the "only rule breaking that worked." I know a LOT of people with this attitude, and I'm sick of it and hearing about how man was never meant to be monogamous when you're really using that as an excuse, not an actual belief about who you are as a person.

I'm mostly not interested in one right now, but when I meet a lovely person, I kinda am.

Almost all the people who express interest in me are like this. Scratch that about almost, actually. Everyone since my divorce. However I know so many people who love the long term monogamous thing... However they're all already coupled.

Well, if anyone is anything like me, they SAY they don't believe in them, because of so many heartbreaks. And then you do it anyway because you fall in love.

And then your heart gets broken again, and you start the cycle over.

I go back and forth on that one.

I think it's kind of silly to make declarative statements that go either way. I mean, you think you have a certain perspective but it could totally change based on who you're with. My experience, anyway. Sorry you're bumping up against so much ambivalence!

My friend was a very convincing Fox Mulder for Halloween. If that's close enough, I can hook you up! :)

hahahaha! Oh, Mars, that made my day, and it's only nine am.

I spent last night with crush boy again. Goddamn. I am so sad he leaves on Thursday for two months...at least I'll see him one more time.

I told my crush the other day that it was my birthday and he wished me happy birthday and added, "It's my girlfriend's birthday, too!" Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...awesome...

P.S. gourd-dammit you guys. I'm all of a sudden in school-girl crush mode over that one guy from last night. We ten-stepped arm-in-arm all over the dance floor and it was so much damned fun. Damnit! I feel like this is bad! But awesome, but more likely bad! Because I'm a crazy person!

crushboy (I'm almost positive) slept with my roommate last night.
Well. Okay. That sucks. Over and done with.

Oh wow. That's shitty. Sorry that happened. Was your roommate informed about your crush status?

Oh, yeah. She's hung out with us on a number of occasions. I'm not laying claim or even being naive enough to not know it would happen if she just said ok. It just sucks to feel like someone I considered a close friend would do that, and then in the morning shrug it off under a guise of drunkenness and an "it was going to happy eventually that we'd sleep with at least one of the same guys."
Yeah. Thanks. Doesn't actually make me feel better. Honestly I feel silly for feeling bad.

Why would you feel silly? I definitely wouldn't do something like that to one of my friends if I knew how they felt and it would hurt me if the same was done to me.

Definitely definitely not silly. I would be pretty unhappy if a friend did that to me, and I would never ever do it to someone else.

Aw, thanks guys. Really the silliness is from knowing no relationship was ever going to come out of it.
But yeah. I'm kind of happy now that she's moving soon...from her reaction, it didn't seem like she'd care if she did it again.

I'm wondering if it is indeed a crush or what... But... Well in December this friend and I forked around a couple times, but then we stopped really hanging out ever, but recently we've started hanging out a lot again... And in kind of cute... Almost date-like ways. I'm kinda feeling like I want to make out with him again. I don't know! Ah! He's really hot. :/

Aaaahhhh this maybe ReCrush guy and I went to this nearby awesome park with the kid he nanny's for, and it was SO FUN. The kid, two years old, at one point grabbed my hand, then grabbed his hand with her other hand and then smooshed our hands together and said "now YOU hold hands!" Ah it was so cute. I felt like we were adorable gay dads. Also, side note, I brought my dog and she was so well behaved, I was so proud.

Also, he was wearing a tank top.

Do I need to describe how much I love guys in tanks or is it pretty self-explanetory? Ya'll feel me.
