So I went to Ireland for a fortnight, and this is one of the things I did! Among other things, I took a class in counterweight flying (for the first time) for one week I was there, and at the end of it I produced this improvised piece:

Vegan goes airborne :)

That's so cool! We happened across a kids' circus school (I know, what!? how awesome!) a few weeks ago, and they had .. what is it called, like aerial acrobatics? Oh, it's the thing in your avatar, Imogen. So cool!

Thank you :)

In my avatar is aerial fabrics and cocoon, although I am doing it with a harness on which is slightly different to just 'straight' aerial fabrics, which I do as well. It's so amazing that they had that for kids as well, it's so much fun :)

It's so much fun and really feels as close to flying as you're likely to get :)

It's also the same way they make people fly in the air during stage productions, although there are a number of different harnesses/attachments for it. Basically I'm on one end of a rope and pulley system, and someone else is on the other going up and down a ladder to take me up and down in the air.
