They did that a Meijer too, put it next to the dairy latte drinks. But they keep all of the cold milks together so it's still right next to the soy milk. And then after selling it for two weeks, they removed it AND the dairy latte. What the fizz.

My Meijer has the Silk latte & dairy latte in the case with the fruit juices.

My guy picked up a carton of the vanilla iced latte. It wasn't the worst thing ever but it was much, much sweeter than I prefer my beverages. Someone earlier in the thread said it was sort of like those Starbucks bottled frappuccinos which I'd agree with. I got through the carton by using it like a coffee creamer instead of drinking on its own but I wouldn't buy it again.

So we kept buying this stuff, but we're using it as a sweetener & creamer in one... not just plain.

I've been obsessed with it ever since I tried it and it doesn't help that I keep getting a thousand coupons for it.

I forgot how much this thread made me laugh, especially mbm's Steve Martin reference.

Can I go a little OT for a sec? Has anyone had the Califia Farms almond milk iced coffee drinks? I'm wondering how they compare with Silk's. I've had the Silk vanilla, and I thought it was ok but too sweet. I haven't seen the Califia ones yet, but I just saw their almond milk for the first time last week, so I'm hopeful! I just bought the mocha one at Target. It's good in a crappy sort of way.

Maybe I need to train in classical French technique...

Jealous! I'm just glad my Target finally started carrying Silk Creamer again - the creamer is the only thing I really want of Silk's.

That says Silk Fruit and Protein, but it also has a link to the Target coupon which is good for any Silk beverage.

Most of the Target deals that would pertain to vegans are lost on me because our tiny Target has Silk regular milks, Morningtar Farms, and that's it. No Latte, no Gardein, no Amy's. Luckily Kroger regularly has deals for that stuff too.

I just discovered last week that my little Target has a better selection of Gardein, Silk, and So Delicious than my grocery store.

It's not exactly a convenience store thing, but there are some Asian soymilk brands that are coffee flavored in little single serving things. I used to buy them at a pan-Asian grocery in Amsterdam all the time, so it might be worth checking HMart or Mitsuwa...

Alternatively, if you can buy plain soymilk you could always carry around some of the iced starbucks Vias...

I just put instant coffee, milk, and ice in the blender. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but I like it.

They just recently added in Gardein, Gardenburger and more Silk stuff within the last two months. It might slowly trickle your way.

shiitake is getting real, you guys.

I bought both since they were part of the $4 off 4 deal, I cracked open the vanilla and it tastes a lot better than the Silk vanilla, even though it's not very vanilla-y.

Yes, the RDV is 10%, I don't know if that's low because I don't keep track of that stuff.

Also for price comparison, the regular price of Silk is only .10 cents less than the regular price they had listed for Almond Breeze.

Almond Breeze coffee beverage! Oh my gosh, I am so excited. A coffee beverage arms race! Hopefully we will be the winners in all these hijinks that will surely ensue.

Also I would like to take this opportunity to point out that if you live near a Kroger, get yourself a Kroger card. Kroger is good to vegans.

That is low but it's better than 0 in the Silk.

I am waiting for the AB to make an appearance here, since I drink almond over soy.
