Remembering right about now why I forking hate glitter polish. Most of it flaked off, thankfully, but even just taking off the bits that were left behind has taken me upwards of 20 minutes. Gonna leave my toes for another day...too irritated to bother with them right now!

I did the old cotton balls + acetone + foil and mine mostly slid right off. But! I'm a dumbpants who used cheap navy blue polish without a base coat, so my nails are covered in grody stains.

But my toes are glitter city and I'm seriously thinking about going for a pedicure just so someone else has to take my old polish off. Ugh.

My polish ended up just peeling off. It was like 9 coats though so that's why. I'm wearing the Orly Sparkling Garbage for the rest of the week and I am obsessed with it. So pretty!

I soaked cotton in acetone for mine, too, to no avail. Oh well!

We're having this week off, so it's your choice :)

Soak 2 cotton pads in remover or acetone, cut each into 5 pieces, place one on each nail and then put a bunch of rubber finger thingos (or foil) on and wait about 5-10 minutes ;)

Oh, sweet, I didn't know wrapping them in foil would help, thanks! I'll try that on my toes.

Yellow or gold! I figure not everyone has yellow, but if they don't they have to have some sort of gold, right? RIGHT?!

Has anyone used Mineral Fusion? They have a nice gold by the checkout in my Whole Foods that I look at every time I'm there. Now I'm tempted to get it.

I have two polishes from Mineral Fusion and I think they're nice.

Didn't realise that last week was a free colour but I painted my toenails Barry M Green Berry gelly nails on since my Aunts favourite colour is that shade of green. I hadn't time to do my hands.

Will try get a gold shade on Monday or Tuesday for this week.

Since I wore my true yellow polish a few weeks ago, I did a pedi in BL Champers - which is a rose-gold. On me this is very neutral, and I usually don't go for neutrals on my toes, but I like it!

Ooh I have a yellow and a gold and they both look like crepe on me. I'd get rid of them, but I figure they'd make for nice stamping colors.

Sinful Colors Unicorn, bought before the buyout. Takes 3 coats, but I kind of love it.

I put on Delight (bronzey-gold) and am not happy with it, so I have one bare hand. Maybe I'll do Mimosa tomorrow.

My dior gel coat top coat was saved with the Zoya refresh drops. It isn't as awesome as it was (still dried quickly, but it isn't nearly as shiny as it was), but it works and I've got half a bottle still.

I really hope the popularity of the Dior top coat will get some more similar options out there... I was really excited about it until the China thing.

I guess it's like Seche Vite without all the nasty chemicals. I wish I could find a decent top coat.
