I've never really been a big TJ Maxx shopper, mostly because their angle is that you can find designer brands there for less. But they are kind of like Big Lots in the way that you can find random vegan things there at a discount, at random times, and it varies from store to store. I read on a beauty blog that someone had spotted Butter London polishes at TJM, and I went to mine because it's literally five minutes from my house expecting nothing. There was no Butter London, but I did find:

Image

There were some other fancy organic vegan things in the food section, but I held back. I was really excited about the coconut chips because a sample size was in the Vegan Cuts box months ago, they are so freaking good. The cookies have also been in the Vegan Cuts box. This is the first time i've ever seen Spa Ritual in the wild, and they had a ton of the ORLY two-packs ($7) by the front register.

I didn't buy them, but I also saw some Pacifica body products and derma-e. They also had ELF, but they were the same price as you would pay on the website of Target (even though the listed value was way higher).

So it's one of those places that's worth stopping by once a month or so and seeing what they've gotten in! Share your fun TJ Maxx finds here.

$3.99, I looked on amazon and they're a little over $5 there. I actually didn't care about the price, I just wanted to dump both bags in my mouth at once. They had Way Better chips too!

Okay, so I found myself near TJ Maxx again today and all I could think about is wanting to try those Dang Coconut chips so I went back and bought them. And this is super weird, but all of the Orly minis that I saw yesterday were GONE. Every single one and there were a bunch. But I did find a Sparitual! It's red, and I'm not big on red, but I've never used this brand so I bought it for funsies. Also: more Brad's Kale Chips and (edited to add because I forgot already) Juice Organics Eye Creme & Giovanni Face Mask.

TJ Maxx is basically my favorite store, it's like a yard sale for stuff I actually want.

I'm going to check Marshall's this weekend because they usually have the slightly nicer brands than TJ Maxx, I am using the excuse of "school shopping" but it's really a Butter hunt.

well, there are none near any places i routinely go. but there IS one ridiculously near unclegramps' work. (he seems to like the dang, so i might be able to convince him to stop in for me.) :-)

Last time I went, they had organic quinoa flour on sale for like $2 or $3. I bought out their stock. Hahah.

I'm pretty sure I saw that exact brand at Ross in the food section not too long ago!

I have found walnut oil, elf stuff (can't find elf at my target), and giovanni shampoo. I also love the kitchen gadgets. They have fancy wooden spoons and Polish pottery!

I have definitely seen gigantic bottle of Giovanni shampoo and conditioner. I need to get on that, but every time I'm there I don't feel like carrying gigantic bottles around and home. I have also seen some cute Urban Expressions bags there!

I got ridiculously excited about finding those Dang chips at Marshall's last week. I never thought I'd see them around here!

I hit up TJs yesterday to search for a black clutch purse and the bL polishes. No luck on the polish, but I got a really cute black clutch that actually says "100% vegan" on a tag inside (made me smile), plus some KMF Moisture Shave, some hand cream, two bags of the Dang coconut chips (one of which I have almost eaten already, holy crepe are they good!!) and a bottle of jalapeño ketchup for the husband. They had Sparitual polish but they were odd shades I didn't like.

I went back the other day because it's right next to the grocery store, and they had put out more Spa Ritual and some China Glaze. Also I found this on the clearance shelf:

http://www.dermorganic.com/shop/index.p ... ucts_id=14

All of the products are listed as vegan and cruelty-free on the site and the packaging. The TJ Maxx pirce for this was $14, but for some reason this one bottle was marked down to $7. It makes my hair shiny but not oily looking. I think it's a salon brand because they also had gigantic $20 bottles of their shampoo.

Aw, bummer! It definitely seems to vary by location and demographics. I just moved next to a fancypants one and it's got a ton of stuff but the one near my old place was scuzzy and never had any good vegan stuff.

Yeah, wait a few weeks and try back. The first time I went to the TJ's here, it had nothing.

yay! Today I went to Marshall's (we don't have TJMaxx) - and I got a big bag of Dang Chips, two boxes of Roasted Edamame Snack Packs (Yum!), and a box of Dr. Kracker crackers. Huzzah! Some of my favorite hippee treats!

Marshall's on Boylston in Boston has Spa Ritual Cuti-Cocktail pens for 10 bucks right now, got one of those and a small sized Pacifica bronzing lotion, as well as two boxes of those roasted edamame snack packs.

wow, I work in the Pru so pretty close to you! But I rarely venture out to that side of Boylston. Every time I set foot in Marshall's I seem to spend money, today I was looking for a picture frame but left with all that stuff above instead.

I usually buy a purse by going to TJ's and finding a vegan one. The vegan ones are usually pretty cute! So much hideously colored leather though.

They also had a lot of cute Madden Girl and Rocket Dog shoes!

That's funny how close we work, but I do the same thing about going to the other end of Boylston, lol.
