I haven't seen a thread on this one yet. I have it but have made very little from it. It just never "speaks to me". Give me some ideas?

Autumn Tempeh salad!!
Also, for Thanksgiving, I used the Sensational stuffing as my template (I modified slightly).
I've also made a couple other things but the Autumn Tempeh salad is my favorite thing so far.

Well I bought this book because of all the pretty pictures but soon found out it had more to offer like:
Brussel Sprouts with Caramelized Onions and Pistachios (I sub in either pecans or walnuts). Ratatouille with White Beans, a bit bland we found. Simple Stuffed Bell Peppers. I cooked them when not feeling so good but I think they were fine. Orzo Pilaf with Roasted Red Peppers and Peas, ding ding ding we have hit the jackpot. Gorgeous without a doubt Sauteed Broccoli Rabe with Olives and Pine Nuts. Bootiful Masoor Dal, Good but extra special with Curry Tofu from VCON Roasted Beets and Fennel Bulbs in Fennel Oil, my DW loves this Pasta and Green Beans with Peanut Sauce. Wowzers this was good, so good that omni's thought it was a cheese sauce. Not intended but whatever.
So yeah a winner in my books.

I love this book! I haven't made much, just the pad thai that I can think of, but it all looks so good and I plan on making a lot from it for Christmas :3

This book is hiding somewhere in my house. I lost the library's copy, which I replaced, but now that it's mine, I've yet to find it.

I've made lentil loaf, golden mushroom gravy, and mashed potatoes with caramelized onions. Uber-yum!

So far, I've only tried the French Onion Pie and the Purple Potatoes with Cashew Cream. I really liked both and just felt the pie was a little too bland so next time, I'm going to add more of the spices she calls for (I think it was nutmeg and black pepper?) and do the same with the potatoes and cashew cream. Cashew cream had a great consistency, though!

I just bought this book today, and haven't really had a chance to sit down and really look at it yet, but the couple pages I did flip through look pretty good, like a spring vegetable risotto.

I got this book for xmas. Although it wouldn't have been my 1st choice cookbook to receive it actually seems rather good so far. I made the Tuscan white beans with spinach and sundried tomatoes along with the garlic bread for NYE and it was delish. Then yesterday I made the PB and J Thumprint Cookies which are amazing!

I just got this today with a gift certificate I got for Xmas and I am so psyched! Everything looks great, the pictures are beautiful and the layout is really appealing. So excited!

I made the "Saffron-Spiked Moroccan Stew" the other night. Served alongside a fresh green salad and couscous to soak up those scented juices it was delicious :) The PB + J Thumbprint Cookies I made a few days ago were another hit.

I looooove the Pad Thai recipe in this book!
For Christmas Eve I made the Red Lentil and Artichoke Stew, the Tomato and Basil Bruschetta, and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Caramelized Onions and Toasted Pistachios. They all went over very well!

I made the Thai Slaw for a potluck picnic, it was pretty good and it was very pretty. Next time I would probably cut down on the maple syrup since I found it a tad too sweet for my tastes. The only peanuts I could find were salted (the recipe calls for unsalted) but I kind of liked the salty contrast.

The Vegan table was my first good vegan cookbook, prior to that the ones that had been given to me included so much heavily processed food; basically "this is a meal you can make with boca burgers", and "here's one you can make with crumbled boca burgers and hamburger helper" etc. The pictures went a long way toward enticing me to try new things and it's paid off big time. fatcat wrote: I made the better than tuna sandwich stuff. It is amazing. I ate three sandwiches full of it throughout the day and am trying not to eat anymore. We love the better than tuna salad and regularly make it to take to lunch throughout the week (it will last 4-5 days in the fridge before the flavor starts to turn a bit). I don't have the book near me right now so I'm not positive on the names of the items but we really like the panini and the tempeh bacon recipes as well. A few items we've made using them (sorry my photography skills aren't really vegan porn worthy): Two variations with the tempeh bacon Panini with avocado, sauteed zucchini, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, and red onion

Yum! I made the corn chowder last week and froze it. I heated up tonight and it was perfect! I also added a bunch of chopped parsley when I made it, which added to it quite well.
