So the food festival is fast approaching! I have volunteer shifts on Sat and Sun but I would love to hang out with any PPK peeps who are going!

The full schedule should be available online shortly. I heard a rumor that it would be up possibly today.

I'm going! I'm excited to see Jamie Kilstein and Breeze Harper! Holy hell is that website hard to navigate though...

I plan on going but haven't looked at the schedule yet. I'd definitely love to hang out with folks whatever day I wind up going (either Sat or Sunday).

I really hope I can get out there but am working on finding someone to ride with as I hate driving in the city. It makes it even harder that I won't know what day I can go (if I can at all) until immediately before. But I am going to damn well try!

Trevor and I are up for meeting up with people who will be there Saturday afternoon! We are going to the Taymer Mason demo at 4, but other than that we'll be walking about, eating and shopping.

I think that my boyfriend and I are going on Saturday! So excited. I think this is my....4th year in a row going? I look forward to this every year. It is my bf's first year going, he's been vegan for almost a year now and we're both very excited. I'm also looking forward to seeing Gene Baur there & the Farm Sanctuary panel!

I think I want to see the Roberto guy--Ellen's chef? Among other folks. I can't remember what day he's appearing though (if I'm right and he is appearing) I looked at his cookbook in the bookstore a couple of weeks ago and was intrigued. I haven't bought it yet, just flipped through it. I'll probably wind up buying a copy at the festival. I think Saturday is my preferred day to go, regardless...

I'll be there tomorrow (I think). Not sure what time but I'd like to make it earlyish enough so I'm home by late afternoon early evening type thing. I'll look for you guys at the Taymer demo as that's the time of day I'm most likely to be around.

I'm going today :) hoping I can meet some of you! Don't know if I'll be around for the Taymer demo but if I am I will try to see if I recognize anyone.

I'm wearing pink comic strip rain boots and will be carrying around a rainbow umbrella. Also will be using the Snooters farm sanctuary booth as home base as my friend I'm going with volunteers with them.

That's me in my av. I'm not 100% sure I'm going today (it's gonna be sunny tomorrow and today is dreary!) but I think I probably will and am about to get into the shower and will probably start getting ready to go. I'll likely be wearing jeans, my *PPK shirt (so PPKers can more easily spot me or maybe a teal cat shirt if my PPK shirt happens to be in the laundry) and a white hooded canvas jacket. Hope to see you guys!

*Actually, I might wear my Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary shirt if I can find it! I love that shirt but I don't remember seeing it in my closet lately. Hope I haven't lost it...

Oh man. I have been looking forward to this for a long time--and really want to see Jamie Kilstein tonight, but I am SO sick all of a sudden. Damn it!

I'm going to try to make it in the evening, but you all may not want to get too close for fear of this cold! I've got short-ish red hair and am wearing a white dress with a blue/brown/yellow pattern (it looks better than it sounds!).

I had such a great time at the food fest today and it was lovely seeing everyone!

Lovey is presently going NUTS over his catnip blanket. In fact, he was all over the bag it was in as soon as I came home (I guess he could smell the catnip). So I took the blanket out, presented it to him and he's been writhing around and wrestling with it ever since.

So much delicious food and so many good treats. The Hot Beans taquitos are to die for!

I had so many cupcakes. And now the pie is sitting there, calling to me, but I must say no.

I had a lot of fun too! I have a "sugar hangover" but other than that, lots of fun!

I'll have to pick up a catnip blanket for my fur babies tomorrow!

P.S. That mac and cheese burrito was amazing!!

I didn't see anybody! At least, I didn't recognize anybody. And I was looking for familiar faces!

Did have a great time (Jamie Kilstein was hilarious) until I grabbed some dinner before I left and had some random pushy dude try to pick me up (which included the line "how long have you been single?"). That kind of ruined my appetite. But no worries, I still have so much sugar to eat in the coming days!

So much fun! j-dub, we were all keeping our eyes peeled for you. Sorry I missed you!

Great seeing everyone as usual, and I am definitely in need of a no-sugar break.

I saw PPPP and Trevor but that was it, because I forgot about the demos and panels and just kept eating.

Brought home two bags of coconut bacon (omg yum), two purses, a shirt from Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, some oh treats and a Snooters sanctuary bracelet.

Did anyone else have a Bunners sticky roll? Holy delicious. Green Earth had corn dogs! I also drank a bottle of kombucha and had crazy gas all night.

I deem the day a great success.
