I don't think about this too much, but it's kind of weird that I never burp. I just do this stifled-burp-hiccup thing. The only time I do anything close to a burp is when I'm puking, and I don't know if I associated burping with puking as a kid and starting trying not to burp, or if something is messed up with my gag reflex/a sphincter or whatevs.
When I tell people, they think it's weird! Is it??

I never burp either, definitely not weird.

Yup, that's how I am. I do those weird hiccup/burp things and only reeeally burp when I'm about to puke.

Also, I HATE when people burp. So gross! Unfortunately, all my friends know this so burps always get blown in my face...

I burp because I like sparkling water... But if I don't drink it, I don't burp.

I burp occasionally, sorry, I don't belong here. But I usually try to not be gross about it, unless I'm alone. If alone, I can do whatever I want to do! But like CNA said, just when I drink something with bubbles or something of that nature. Not all the time. I can't burp the ABC's or anything (although I'm impressed with people who can.)

This is me. I have never burped like a normal person.

I don't burp either! Everytime I do manage it [I think my total count is three, now] I get super excited. I always get strange looks when I squeel in delight after a burp.

What most people have said. I have these weird, high-pitched hiccups/squeaks that I think may be my body's version of a burp. Sometimes my throat will gurgle, though. That's not super cute.

Crazy! I burp a lot. It is apparently my body's preferred method of emitting gas.

Also, my downstairs neighbor burps so loud I can hear him through the floor. =D

I swear, as I get older gas escapes my body more frequently.

I only ever do if I've been drinking something carbonated, which is hardly ever.

Oh yeah, I do a lot of gurgling too. Kinda gross! I might fart more than the average burping person, I don't know.

I never burp! Every time I hiccup it sounds like I am burping and people always look at me strangely. I feel like I should excuse myself but I didn't do anything!

I wouldn't say I've never burped, but it's pretty much next to never.

I don't think I can burp either, I've done the hiccupey thing about 3 times ever....I make up for it by farting a lot instead!

I can't burp on command, every now and then I'll randomly burp but it's very rare and always at inappropriate times (gotta love that). I do get the gurgles though, nice to know I'm not the only weirdo out there.

I rarely burp, and when I do, its not really audible. I don't really think of it as a good thing though. Sometimes I get the feeling that I really need to burp and get that painful pressure in my chest but can't burp. I wish I could burp on command, and I've tried to like a gazillion ways but it never works.

Me too. My mom did this so much growing up and I hated it then, but now I realize my mom was cool.
