there are a bunch of festivals/fayres in multiple locations happening over the next several months (see Animal Aid's event listing). anybody have plans to go to one or more? i'll be at VegFest London both days - £10 entry per day kind of sucks, but they still have some BOGOF tickets available online.

I'm going to VegFestUK in London too, both days! We should have a PPK meetup :)

I might struggle to make it into town on Saturday night as I'll be in Brighton during the day. I'm meeting up with Ovine on Sunday and we are going for drinks afterwards with a few others (maybe food too, depending on how much we've eaten at the festival). The more the merrier! Or are you rushing off on Sunday?

Does anyone want to go to VegFestUK for just one day and hasn't bought a ticket already (either Sat or Sun)? My friend wants to go just on Saturday and so we can do a BOGOF thing if anyone else wants to go for one day. PM me if so!

I believe there was a half price deal on Groupon the other day, it might still be valid.

There is also a half price offer on Time Out which your friend could get Imogen - but it must be ordered by midnight today (Monday).

Thanks! Have forwarded it to her as the groupon one had expired by the time she tried it.

I wanted to do London vegfest, but I got back from holiday on the 5th and couldn't really be bothered to do all that much on the Sunday.

I am planning to go to Animal Aid's Christmas Fayre... I think it's on the 8th of December.

I'm also planning on going to the Manchester Vegan Fair on 2 November 2013 if anyone else is planning on going?

I'll probably go to the London one in December, if I can make the date.

There's a vegan fair in Leicester next Saturday 10.30-3.30. It's a new venue, so not sure what that will be like, but it looks like there will be about 25 stalls. There should be a good selection of food, as several of the stall names I recognised are local caterers, bakers etc.

https://www.facebook.com/vegan2013 or https://twitter.com/LVF2013 for more details.

In Glasgow there is a Big Vegan Fete taking place at the Flying Duck on 30 November 2013, 2-7pm.

I'll be there with my partner :)

Aw, man. Sorry about your ills!

It was pretty sweet, but I may have eaten too many foods. I had a peanut butter rice crispy square and a chocolate chip cookie from Ms. Cupcake, a wagon wheel style concoction and a slice of pizza. On the truffle front, I had a bunch of samples from Hipo Hyfryd, which were really yummy, and bought a box of white chocolate truffles for the boyfriend.

Managed to get most of my Christmas shopping done, which was the plan, plus picked up a few bits that I've been intrigued by online, but haven't wanted to shell out postage for, such as vegg and some teese. All in all, rather successful. Glad I went early though since by the time I was leaving, a little before 1, it was uncomfortably packed.

That's the thing that drives me crazy about vegan festivals - if there are so few of us, why are they always so damn crowded? I mean, it's awesome that they're so popular, but crowds make me stabby.

FYI - Not listed on the original link is a LABL fair in Edinburgh on 31 May 2014.
