Me! Oh, you guessed that, good job :)

I'm planning a trip for Oct 23-26 or 27. I'm coming to visit music schools (yeah! ohhhmygod!) so I'm like 50% nervous and 50% excited. :) I need to find a place to sleep/eat/crash while I'm there. I'm highly allergic to cat litter (not cats, just the litter products, but any scented or ammonia-based products make me really really sick). Other than that, I'm a pretty chill houseguest. I'm happy to help out with stuff like cooking and can chip in for food if needed. Ideally I'd like to stay somewhere that I can park my car and then use the T to get around while I'm there, but if necessary I could leave my car someplace else. I don't mind staying in the 'burbs as long as I can get on a train easily.

Please let me know if you've got a place for me to stay! Once I have that figured out, I'll post again so we can plan meetup type festivities. :)

I don't have a place you can stay, but you're coming on my birthday! Happy birthday to me!

It looks like I will probably be staying with my cousins in Westwood. Yay! I don't know exactly what time I'll get there on the 23rd or how exhausted I'll be from driving :P but YES YES YES let's celebrate your birthday even if not on the exact day!!

I never celebrate my birthday on my birthday! I would love to do it on a thursday or friday! :) :) I'm gonna make an event on FB. Have to figure out where to put it. Which vegan restaurant?! I would love Root, but it's likely too small.

Last time we went to Veggie Galaxy. Frankly, I would be happy to eat there every day of my life...but I'm sure there are other places people would like to go. I will be visiting Berklee and New England Conservatory on Thurs and Fri, so I can easily hop on the Green or Orange lines from there. I am happy to eat anywhere you want. I like to eat vegetables and I trust your discernment :D

Please, please let me know when you are available for eating food? I will PM my phone number. I'm sorry I couldn't offer a place to stay. I'm currently staying in our spare bedroom, and it's just not a very happy place to be, honestly.

You know what is happy though? VEGAN FOOD with YOU!

Also, happy early birthday, lillianp! That's so excited. Man, Root is so good. I wish it weren't too small. I'm a creature of habit and like CQ, would be happy to eat at Veg Galaxy every day, so I am not good at offering suggestions. Grasshopper has more space? Bella Luna is fun, but a lot further away from you now.

CQ, are you really thinking about coming to school in Boston? That would be my best thing ever. Seriously.

Veggie Galaxy and Grasshopper both sound awesome, though Grasshopper is a little harder to get to. My Thai is another option with a lot of space.

PS: Boston VegFest is on the 26th & 27th, you should go! There's even a soft serve ice cream truck outside the entrance if you don't feel like dealing with the crowds.

I've never been to Veg Fest, and I would feel brave enough if I went with peoples! I open to going to Veg Galaxy any time too, though!

Let's do VegFest! Should we go Saturday?? I'd say the earlier we go the better but it's still going to be crowded!

For the record, I made a facebook event for friday evening. A bunch of my nonvegan/nonppk friends are coming but I want to see everyone, so message if me or CQ haven't invited you yet.

I definitely would like to do VegFest. I can go any time; the only real 'plans' I have for Saturday is to run/work out and maybe drop off my laundry. I'm a party animal, obvs.

Yeah! We should go Saturday because I'm leaving Sunday morning. ;-)

There's a whole thread for vegfest now! I am pro-Saturday morning! I need the rest of the day to Get shiitake Done (TM), but want to see all the cool veg things!
