guys guys guys.
THE MUFFINS.
carrot ginger muffins!
omg, so good.
maple cookies are indeed delicious crack.
i was obsessed with the veggie fried rice for awhile but i don't eat it much anymore.
i looooooooove their white bean hummus, favorite store bought hummus ever. (be careful, there are two types, one is vegan, the other is not.)
peanut butter pretzels.
fair trade coffee.
i bought a bottle of wine once and i haaaaaaated it but that is an unfair generalization because it was one out of the hundred they offer.
every time i go there are fun new things to try!

The "Spicy" variety of their rich and creamy hummus. I'm trying to block it out so I don't feel the need to go get some tomorrow.
And the Double Rainbow Chocolate Sorbet!! Words cannot describe.

Their soygurt is the BEST! Trail mix- they now have some that have dairy free dark chocolate. The smooth and creamy hummus of the spicy variety. The raspberry lime sparkling water (tastes like a lime ricky). Soy Creamy, both the cherry chocolate and the mango vanilla are good. Extra Firm tofu. And, I know people talk trash, but I like the TJ's tempeh.
I miss the roasted veggie pizza they used to have. It was like the Amy's but 2 bucks cheaper.
It has to almost be time for peppermint Joe-Joes....

I love the apple struedel, the dark chocolate sea salt almonds, the soyrizo, soy creamer, coffee and teas and they have great prices on olive oil, luna bars, all sorts of nuts (including the chili lime cashews that are so good in salads). I also like the meatless meatballs and the masala burgers.
Their house almondmilk is good and cheap. I've never had the vegan marshmallows or the soygurt, but would love to.

I thought it was really good, but I didn't like the lemongrass in my mouth. I bought some peanut flour, but I don't know what to do with it either!

Uggh you guys are making me seriously crave TJ's. Since I started working at a grocery store I never bother to go to another since it's so much more convenient for me to just pick a few things up after my shift is over, but I'm really missing some stuff you can only get there! I'm going to have to make a special trip once the candy cane joe joe's come out and stock up on seaweed sesame rice balls.

Denali, I mix a little pb flour with water and a pinch of salt for lean pb on apple action, I also add it to red curry/Thai stir fry or dipping sauce, mix w/dairy-free vanilla yogurt for something like pb pudding, add to things that are usually made with chickpea or lentil flour, whatever. I think adding some to a dough for cinnamon rolls and subbing chocolate for cinnamon would make me swoon. Do add a pinch of salt and maybe some molasses if you want to try it just mixed up with water, though. Oooh, a pb frosting is somewhere in my future! This, too: sweet potato & pb stew

Ooh, once a Trader Joe's employee gave me this super long list of vegan things they normally have. Anyone else get one of those?
I'm a little upset because my boyfriend lost the list, and I haven't been back to Trader Joe's in a while... I'll try to make a trip down there tomorrow, and I definitely have to get some apple strudel, peanut flour, masala burgers and goddess dressing!
I'm super addicted to the Cafe Twisties they have (or whatever they're called). I can't help but eat the whole tub before the day is through.

What's the deal with the high protein extra firm tofu? What makes it high protein? There was this organic tofu from a company in West Virginia called Spring Valley or Creek or something that I bought in Ohio where I used to live. It was awesome and the only tofu I was able to cook with. Well, I was happy to find this high protein stuff at TJs when I moved to LA because it is almost exactly like my old favorite stuff. So, I'm happy, but curious about the whole high protein thing.

I'm holding this thread personally responsible for me spending hundreds of dollars at TJs when I go shopping next week.
