I quickly threw this together today with stuff I got at the Farmer's Market. The stir fry is string Beans, oyster mushrooms, Asian eggplant, and some Chard that I needed to use. It's over a bed of Cañahua, which is a complete protein grain like Quinoa.

It's, according to the Google search I did when I got home, not very well known. It's related to Quinoa, though without the bittter part you have to wash off and it's higher in protein.

I'd imagine you can find it online, but the only place I've ever seen it is in the local Raw Food "Farmer's" market. When I Googled it, though, it seems that the awareness of it is really small and that some people are trying to start a resurgence.

Hahha. Always looking for something new! Plus, it has more protein! We need more protein. Looks great, Niev! I wonder if more stores will start to carry it....

At the local Farmer's market. It not truly a farmer's market because it's run by one raw food farm, but that's what they call it.
